Could this fit on the tub of a ranger wildtrak?

Yes, you can fit the smaller model on the tub/tray of the ute. The bigger one will fit and will overhang about the same distance as your towbar. We have fitted both sizes to many utes trays

Can you put a couple of jerry cans of fuel on the top for touring or is that just too much weight?

Love it! But most of cars this day only support 80 or 100kg with rail on the roof when driving..... Need to buy or change a car first 🤣

Yes, that is the driving load once the tent is closed. However, when the tent is open the ladder is the main support for the tent so the combine weight rating of the ladder and roof racks means there is plenty support for people to be seeping up there.

only if they were not so long , can't fit them on a hilux on a.tub rack , 2mtres long is too long

We successfully fitted our smaller 1.5 m model to a Hilux tub a few weeks ago and it fits really well. Lots of our customers are now choosing to mount this way
