Love your format; great camera work, sound, no talking. Keep up the great work. I like that you eat well and know how to prepare food. Thank you. I've watched this series repeatedly.

Not sure how you make coffee, but on sacred ground in Oregon, I learned to make cowboy coffee: The water is boiled, then removed from the fire and coffee placed in, not stirring. After a few minutes, pour a little cool water in and give a quick stir. The grounds will all drop to the bottom.

Gracias.

You love you're morning coffee, don't you Bear? Hey, if you don't mind, could you show us your brewing setup and how you make the drinks and carry the various ingredients with you? I think that'd be interesting to see. Take care!

what kind of tent is that ? would rather have debris shelter but that would be nice when you have little time to set up . and by the way your vids are by far the best out there !! there are good ones out there that teach people a lot of valuable info. like dave canterbury. love farnorthbushcraft, but i let you put me to sleep evry night.

Id rather have a tent or tarp :) ....but knowing how to build debris shelter if your tent or tarp were destroyed on your trip is certainly valuable knowledge. But definetly does not offer the flexibilty of a tarp system. Even the way back when people preferred a tarp system...because of course its better :)

sir, on your journal, there's a leaf, is that a drawing or a real one? if its a real one, how do you preserve it on your journal? i kept a journal too, everytime i went to the forest i always try to find a flora to be identified later at home, unfortunately some sample i collected and glued to my journal has rotted away, and the sample are left unidentified since i have no reference on what to do to identified the sample i collected beside google :D.

Wiku Sunda Laras They are real. You have to dry them first. The simple trick is to put the leaf between two pages in an book (or journal) and the let it stay there until dried. Then they are flat and you can just glue them in a page.

Yes, I love the woolie, and it must make a hood for your head--especially if you are bald like me. I use them at home in my bed, even in the summer when my wife likes too much air conditioning.
