Bushcraft Bike Camping | BEER CAN CHICKEN Cooked on the Camp Fire!

Myself and Joey von tinder bundle packed our bikes and headed off for a bushcraft camp in the woods. We found a delightful camp spot on a little beach area near a river. We drank, played with the catty and cooked a beer can chicken which was delicious! The midges were out in force and Joe got the brunt of it after choosing to camp with NO BUG NET! (Silly feather stick head)
I'd not seen von bramble for a while, and we'd not had a bike camp for a while either so it was really good saddle up with me old pal and hit the road. We also managed to junk our dunk a couple of times which is always a winner winner beer can chicken dinner.

I carry one or three plastic cutting “sheets”. They’re about 1’X1 1/2 foot, thin, flexible. Can be easily cut to size to fit into your kit. Weigh maybe 2 ounces. Serve for food prep and as a clean table surface.

I carry a plastic frisbee, the kind with a flat top, not a rounded dome top. Upside down, it’s my rimmed dinner plate. Cleaned up, it’s a fun toy for two.

Great vids boys, Camped near there recently I think, midges were harsh, Joey should keep a midge net in his summer kit just incase. We dunked the junk in the pools flowing down from Kinder (snake pass Inn side) great fun, but jeez the cold seems to hurt most on the ankles for me.

Keep up with the camp videos buddy there a good crack. The best midge and other nasty bitey bug repellant that I've found is Sainsburys Extra Strength Midge Spray. It's awesome. I also burn citronella coils around the tent/tarp which is cracking too. Spent a long weekend in Scotland it it kept them at bay.
