*Jason - I couldn’t agree more these guys on you tube pulled me out of a hole this year, I hadn’t been camping since I was 18, I’m 34 now and this year was the first time since then. You tube bush crafters sent my life in a different direction. Same as you said, I started getting back in to the wild camping as well from watching haze, MCQ, scrambled O the list goes on, all the dream team, and since I have it’s the happiest I have been since my two children were born, the oldest being 8, so long time coming, can’t nock these guys work ethic and enthusiasm in abundance. I hope I can deliver some good content one day, I can’t even work out how to lay music over a video yet 🤣 amateur at work here!

What up haze!! I am so jealous, our mushroom season is running out here in Detroit area Michigan!!!! My main season is morels in the sprig (20+lbs on a good year)... I might get a few chantrelles, hen of the woods, or other less desirable bracket style shrooms during summer and fall but not enough to brag about! I truly wish I could come spend The Fall season and do some mushroom hunting in Europe!! Here in Michigan people overpick and our mushroom population is suffering badly!!! Morel mushroom sell for up to $40 a pound! With no regulations??! Thank you for showing and demonstrating respect for the land and how to properly maintain natural resources!!

I have been in, and loved, many kinds of forests. There is nothing like a beech forest. There, the silver pillars rise heavenward while in summer the emerald light filters downward. The trees have eyes where old healed branch scars decorate that smooth grey muscular bark. Delicate wisps of tannish leaves might persist into winter. Those have a special subtle voice in the wind: a winter gust lending motion, evoking spirit, surrounding being. Familiarity. Comfort. Home. Hug a beech sometime. They're good hugging trees.
