Man!... Are you kidding me? 3-burner stove in the wild... deep-fried, pancake coated, sausage. Come on!!! Southern style, sausage tempura. Oh ya! I've been studying cooking for more than a decade and nobody ever taught me how to visually figure out the oil temperature. That's a great tip. You have truly inspired me to learn to weld too. You make some excellent multi-tasking equipment. Thanks!!!
@Reallybigmonkey110 жыл бұрын
realrasher LOL, Aint it neat? I usually have one big fire but I had three just to show some different things on video. Thats awesome that you learned about the oil temp from me. I was taught because no one ever carried a thermometer for the oil. Welding aint nothing but fun. Thanks for watching my friend.

LOL, livin' large! Reminds me of the time I took a one-week "only use your brightest flashlight" challenge. One night, I just pulled my steak off the pan and the electricity went out. I ate my steak and drank wine with more light than usual, then I noticed the blinds were still wide open. No one across the street had even candle light going on (oops). I closed the blinds and proceeded to play PSP till the power came back. I'm outdone right here....

Man you aint alone. I always get the pans covered in soot. I always carry a scotch brite pad and rub the pots inside and out in a creek or stream before I pack them away. Thanks! Im glad you liked it. Most of these ideas started out just by so much cooking and improvising cook sets in the woods that it all slowly evolved into what it is today. The potstands work great because they hold the wood and the pot, and they keep the wood in a neat pile causing you to need very little wood. Thanks for watching my friend.

Thanks! I'm glad you and your son like the videos. As far as ticks go, most folks use spray but I personally have noticed that gloves, long sleeves and a hat or do rag or some kinda head covering works. I made one of your rod stove stands with a different twist. I bent a loop in the top one and then slide the bottom one with the u bend through the loop. It will stand on hard ground. Thanks for all the hard work on the videos.

Thanks man. I love using those stands. Not only do they do a good job of holding the pot but they do a great job of holding the wood. It doesnt take much wood to cook off of because it sits right where it should, under the pot. Im glad you liked it, Thanks for watching my friend.

Thanks! Im glad you liked it. I have had a smaller version of the scoop stove for years that burns different liquid or gel fuel. This is my first one big enough to burn wood. Thanks for the sub and thanks for watching my friend.
