Old style strip wood canoe - sweet! You may want to try a kayak paddle for solo canoeing, much easier that side to side paddling, in my opinion, for what it is worth. That venison haunch looked fabulously delicious, I could almost smell it from way over here across the big pond! Somehow I got behind in my subscription viewing, you and several other bushcrafters - Spring weather has a way of getting me out of the house! Looking forward to watching the Sweden trip.
