Nice video Sarge. I find the older I get the lighter the pack gets :) Always good to re-evaluate your equipment over time and keep what works for you.

Glad to see Nanook made a brief drive by appearance. Lol. I can vouch for the flask. I purchased it after seeing it in one of your pre-historic videos. Great flask for oil and no drip. I still got my original Guyot bottle, too. Nice vid.

My MSR Stowaway lives in my bag that I keep in my truck. For the price it is unbeatable.

Good video thanks for sharing, I’m not sure why but this video was making me think about the chili Mac recipe you did with the black beans and pasta. Man it’s good.

Great video again. I have a pal of mine who swears by a jet boil.... Any thoughts? For me it's a msr in stainless with a small bushpot and of course a stainless kettle are my tried and true.
@sargefaria4 жыл бұрын
i have no experience with jet boil. some buddies love theirs tho. so i dont have a personal opinion, but im sure theyre good
@jefffoster68924 жыл бұрын
@@sargefaria I guess I could see the benefits for the first coffee of the day but, a kettle is still much more useful and can make more than just one cup. From what I gather, jet boils are also pricey then add the fuel. Nahh, not for me. Blessings to you and yours.

Love my little kettle as well man. Although the cup/pot on my windburner is at least a couple of cups of coffee at a time. But i hear ya, always been a fan of the fire and kettle myself. These type things do have their place though for sure

@@sargefaria agreed. Actually thought about getting one just for the job site. Hot coffee on the cold morning breaks sure would be nice. May even be a right off !?

FYI any sale to 4dog sale is an anti-2nd amendment. Derek is probably not aware that the 4 dog owner is against gun ownership and use. I support him just not 4 dog stove
