Thanks man, I already knew a lot of perimeter alarms, traps and what not but for some reason I never came across this one before, genious compared to the stone/log thumpers and multiple cans on a string I have been using so far when considering noise level and duration. Anyhow, thanks for the info, much appreciated.

deers dont run so far, the always look back to see if some thing persecute them, and if they dont can see or hear nothing strange, then they soon calm down, that is a alarm, and alarms should be noise. :0)

@Omnignosis It's not to scare them away it's to tell you they are there so you can get away before they attack.

Add some stones or loose change inside the can. Maybe add a 2nd. The more clanking the better..and if all you guys are really diggin on this, you all lack creativity- just being blunt. And if you really like this one, you'll love having same can with few stones or coins inside the house balanced on top of a door knob. It'll drop and clank if someone comes in or messes with he door. I use this when I travel or stay strange places.

@rumbleguts Perhaps because there's basically no risk whatsoever. Atleast if you live in Sweden like this guy x) There's a huge widespread phobia of predators here in Sweden, especially wolfes even though no one has been attacked in ages x) The likeliness of something happening is minimal, if you add firesmoke to that it's rediculously small x)

@hobbexp I know, I'm not saying it's an unneccessary video. It's simple and effective and yes, it would be more of use in other places. @Ggreenvideos Were you afraid because the grizzly woke you up or because you simply saw a grizzly? In Missouri, the only thing I have to fear at night is the raccoons stealing my food. I don't care what anyone says, a wild animal can attack you at any moment whether it feels threatened or not. I would love to hike the western U.S., but bears, mountain lions and wild boars would cause me concern.
