Wargeh bushcraft camping
In this camp, I am building a stone shelter in the forest. Then I cover it with a tarpaulin. I'm making a fire pit in my shelter. I cook bbq and delicious meals during the camp. It is raining heavily. I really enjoyed this adventure in the forest with my dog. I hope you like it too.

Let’s see if i learned anything🙂 Protection: 1) ‘shelter with at least 1 solid side. build other sides & roof. 2) have a water source. 3) ground cover retains body heat. 4) find fuel$ something to start a 🔥. 5) play with my very energetic best friend ❤️ 6) always have tools, food a tarp & food. 7) play with my very energetic best friend some more ❤️ when done, put things back as you found them. The veggies are so fresh & the press for the food is a great idea! 🍽️🍽️“ The weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful.” Big Hugs to your very energetic best friend! Hello from Oklahoma! The Old River Rat here. Good Video! I've been watching you for some time now, always a lot of work on your part. Interesting choice of a spot to set up camp. I was a Boy Scout back in the mid 70's. We were taught never camp in a bottom or ravine. It's better to camp mid way up a hill or in the protection of the trees if you're on a flat. Always look for the 4w's. Anyway, fun video, your hound is a big help. Thanks for all You Do! God Bless!

Hello thanks for your nice comment. Yes, what you say is true. The place where I built the shelter is not a place where water from a large area collects. Even if it rains heavily throughout the day, there is no risk of flooding where my shelter is located. The place where I camped is a high altitude place. In heavy rain, there may be flooding in the lower parts of the valley, but there is no such risk where I camped.

What I find interesting in all these videos is..... when you are hiking about, how do you know where you are going to set up your shelter? Are there tell tale signs that clue you in as to where to start building? Things you look for that make the proposed site... "The One?" Please... do tell!!!!

Good evening … great video, great dog companion… Question … in some videos yours and others I notice that after you are done with your shelter aside from leaving your tarp as cover why do you and others that bushcraft why do you break down the camp … why not leave it for someone else to add on to the camp or shelter. If it became an emergency someone else could take shelter in it … thanks again MG
