The knife market has gone insane. I don’t understand how anyone can justify $300 for a fixed blade.

Snob element. They put their prices up every time somebody does a knife video.

Well, you know what they say - good things don't come cheap! But I get where you're coming from, it can be hard to wrap your head around those price tags.

Liked the video. Luv the outdoors & hav been into knives since i was in grade school. I luv the duel grind knives. There is a maker out of texas named william collins that makes a variety of duel grind knives. Looking forward to more outdoor videos

I know the steel may be a little outdated but if I'm going to carry just one knife into the woods it will be my Puma White Hunter. I've been using that knife since the early 70s and it's still holding up well.

My most used knife is Russell Belt Knife bought from Herters in 1963 backed up by a Tops BOB or Tanimboca Puukko and a Rat 2 D2. These knives make me happy every day in the Colorado rockies and high desert.

Those look like excellent knives. Very reminiscent of LT Wright knives.

Very similar I have had 4 or 5 LT wright knives some of the best you can buy!

Re-edit on my comment, Bought the Sasha Puukko and returned for the puukkote and returned the puukkote as well. Finish on the knife not worth $320 bucks and for 01 even more so. I tried to love it but with $320 I can definitely get better steel and better quality, my 2 cents.
@MountainAdventureChannel Жыл бұрын
Looks like the Sasha Puukko didn't quite cut it for you! But hey, at least you gave it a shot. Time to keep hunting for that perfect knife!

Awesome blades brother esp USA 🇺🇸 made totally agree.. But.... For you poor guys here is two excellent options . ENZO ELVER kit. only $49 at DLT traders. Just gotta screw and glue the scales. It's a beautiful blade and has a great sheath. Condor Trivitatta Puuko $89, Awesome micarta scales and fat handle great sheath . Tops Tanimboca Puukko $105 🇺🇸 Yes it is worth saving up, I love a great premium blade. In the end a great 1095hc is just fine and I'd rather have that esp a Tops. USA 🇺🇸 is my number one choice and Tops is a fave that or Kabar Becker blades. I love my Tops Brakimo it's freaking killer for all things.
