Bushcraft Tarp Shelter On a Small Mountain Lake

beat the rain into camp through up a quick plow point tarp shelter and enjoyed an amazing night under the stars at one of of my favorite mountain lakes. Cooked up porkchops and beans on the fire and enjoyed the sounds of nature. The frogs greeted me in the evening as usual at this location. The tarp pitch worked out great dinner was delicious it was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life definitely the best way to recharge after the week.

Thats one if ny favorite spots you visit, reminds me of many of my Adirondack lakes. Great job on the tarp setup, the adjustment on tension is perfect. No mercy on that nomad 😅 love it. Great vid Jeff, keep em coming 👍

thanks man! definitely a prime spot. surprisingly the prussik worked out never use one on a stake before haha could have been a disaster 🤣. no mercy at all I love that knife

I have packed in belly boats a few times lots of small trout. really no chance from shore takes a bit to get deep

Just make sure that can isn't plastic lined. Some are.
