Hot Tent Camp In the Canadian Mountians

#camping #adventure #hottent Got out with my hot tent for a camp in the Canadian Mountians outside my hometown. Temps dipped below zero and cooked up a couple steak sandwiches on the hot tent stove. This patch of woodland is one of my favorite locations. Ample fire wood and minimal people. Tough sleeping on the ground after hammocking the last few months. Exploring the forest with a hot tent is an unbelievable way to beat the colder weather fall starts to roll in. These little adventures are what keep me sain and grounded. Had an absaloute blast enjoying nature in the warmth and comfort of a fire inside a fabric tent. The Nomad I carry as my primary knife is made by Tanner at Boxer Blades. Heirloom quality and craftsmanship he does unbelievable work. The gloves are by Kerry Pratt over at Adirondack American Outfitters tough as nails and hand crafted bison leather gloves.

Looks like a great overnighter! The dinner looked delicious and the hot tent would be warm. You've just got to figure out the sleeping pad bit and you're good to go😁

I have a a frame style hot tent Floor-less easy to put a lightweight cot in there to keep u off the ground

Great job on this one showing the full camp setup. Steak sandwiches on the hot tent stove looked amazing. I'm a tosser and turner on ground as well, but I bring my cot on hot tent trip to get off ground for added tent stove warmth and find it to be way more comfortable than any ground pad alone. Crazy you had snow already up there, won't be long and ground will be covered. Definitely looking forward to a hot tent trip in snow this year. Thanks for sharing this adventure, Jeff. 👍

definitely thinking a cot and sled for winter. the setup was tricky so many tie outs and shit lol but i pulled it off.
