I couldn't help but be distracted realizing that he must go up the hill, set up his camera and then go back down the hill to record himself coming up. After recording himself passing by the camera he has to turn it around so he can watch himself go up the hill away from it only to then go back down to get the camera. His dog must wonder about him. To me it seems very unnatural to plan, set up to record and then edit video so that the whole world can see you living a simple life in the woods.

I'm old and don't have the skills this man has, but this video makes me want to buy a tent and camp out with my dog. People should watch this video to understand the real meaning of what it is to be a man - experiencing nature with man's best friend. This new job requires me to work second shift. There is also a litter of German short hairs where my sister gets her hair done. I keep going back and forth in my mind about it. This reminds me of when we were kids and we'd make a fort out of rocks and sticks. We always had our dogs, that usually stole the sticks, but mom didn't worry if our dogs were with us. Our forts were always beautiful and sometimes we'd make teepees. In the winter we got to build bonfires, eat Hostess cupcakes and Hersey Bars and stay out until late or until the mosquitos got really bad. A couple of us had our BB guns, in case, you know, bears or mountain lions. Unfortunately, we all outgrew that stuff, got girlfriends, went to college. It's nice to see some do not outgrow that stuff. Now I want another fort.

That is one well built & designed cabin. Once you get that warm , it will hold some heat. Love lanterns such a feeling of pioneers.
