Hi Karen, I did a week long course many many years ago. People used to say what did you learn, and it was always difficult to explain. I learned so much that it still spills out occasionally today I'd recommend every one try a course if you don't like it you've lost a week, if something clicks it's changed your life. Flint and steel are not that easy as it looks like, but training will bring sucess (It tooks me headaches too trying it🤪😂). Thank you for the encouragement lovely!! I’ve had a lot of success with flint and steel in the past but I think my tinder wasn’t quite dry and there wasn’t enough of it. I’ll keep practicing though as I love it!!! 🥰

I have been looking at doing such courses but there is very fee in county Durham and they are extremely expensive. The others I have looked at , involve some travelling time which incers more expense . So on a limited budget, I will have save my pennies more . Great little video, and thanks for sharing your adventure . ATVB Big Andy.

Ahh cheers Big Andy! Yes I had to save up to do this. Life is expensive isn’t it but maybe squirrel away a little bit each month. Some places give you a “qualification” but these courses are more to give you the techniques for you to then go away and practice which I like. X

It’s a great technique and I’ll definitely use it again. I need a bigger axe lol! It’s just standing in that bent over position for too long it started to aggravate my back and I just have to listen to my body. Such a great day though and learnt so much!! 😍

Our courses are usually about 50/50 actually! I think it must be that gents are just more vocal online so it seems like it's more male dominated than it is 😁
