I wish Woolie chose to use an iron sword instead. The finishers that the enemies do on him look WAY cooler than his attacks in them.

He swaps to it after like ~3 hours when someone lets him know that he nerfed himself using the wood sword, since you can swing the blood from the iron sword to blind enemies and get a free hit in while they rub their eyes

Have straight up no idea how the SECOND scenario campaign is supposed to be possible other than luck, not only do you have so many guys coming at you but if there's more than one the game will choose an "Active" one and your grabs won't work on anyone else, meaning you can get stuck between guys, AND it gets too dark to see what they're doing too.

@@BonnieBoestar You know you can set the difficulty down Difficulty modes are for enjoyment, not for making the game unfun for yourself.

The music in that intro gives me Samurai Champloo vibes. That's rad.
HOLY SHIT THIS GAME IS COOL! and looking at it from a fg perspective is soo fun

the bushido-blade-like is probably always doomed to ultimate obscurity but ive seen these guys cover so many of them at this point it would be dumb to say that the genre isnt real and that there isnt a significant demographic that is interested in them. what is absolutely true beyond doubt, based on the amount and quality of these types of games that get released; there is a sizable contingent of talented and industrious enthusiasts attracted to the genre. whether there is a proportionate number of actual consumers to support each individual effort is the mystery.

When I saw this video upload, I thought this was a new version/sequel to the fisticuffs game "One Strike" on the old channel. Both are samurai pixel based fighting games with Bushido Blade inspirations, and near as I can tell, aren't related. This looks cool though.

there is a sequel already, it's called "Two Strikes" (yes, really) and it looks FUCKING SICK.

Man I hope that woolie gets recomennded HEMA sword fighting on VersusWoolves at some point. A pipedream, but it would be really cool to see him try out some real sword fighting.

Theres a bunch of bushido likes out there btw. Check out Sclash maybe. Edit: to be fair, I think I might like this game better. Edit2: They have already checked out Sclash. I'm a clown.
@DiranJiru10 күн бұрын
Unfortunately Sclash isn’t as polished at this one.
