Great presentation on the video and the scope box as well. Looks like it's 8541 Tactical approved!

Bushnell has been my "Go-To" scope for years but I have to say that they may not be the best bargain in Kansas anymore with the improvements "feature rich" Athlon Optics has made to it's Midas, and above, Optics lines (turret systems). Bushnell has really good clarity and coatings but lack illumination under $1K. That's where the Nikon Black X1000, FX1000; Athlon Midas, Ares; Primary Arms Gold, Silver and various Burris offerings become a better buy. Riton Optics Mod 7's and 5's are also gaining traction in that same space.

I just had a Nutnfancy flashback. The forge line of scopes seem to present a pretty decent value. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts.

Looks nice, turrets look & sound good but 1/2 mil graduations on the reticle are a miss for Bushnell. Should compete well with the Ares BTR where the Forge has locking turrets but the BTR has .2mil graduations. Looking forward to your range review.

I'm curious what the percentage of scope tracking error is going to be? 31 MOA/9 mil tall target test?!

Looks nice, but I still prefer SWFA SS scopes. You just can't beat their ruggedness, turret reliability, and quality for the price.

Bushnell kicking Nikons ass for the budget precision scope. If I didnt already have a FX1000, I'd get one of those.

Great video can't wait for more on this. How do you think this scope compares against the vortex viper pst

It is a nice looking package but didn't expect the price point. Is it as durable and refined as the Burris considering price is almost identical?

That's a nice looking scope. That scope goes for $750-$1000 depending on the model. If Bushnell sent me one, I would do an unboxing and product test as well. I can't wait to see the vertical ladder test, to see how well/if the turrets repeatedly index. **(You should put it on something that is super accurate)** Great show and unboxing. Thank you. I wonder if the rain cover fits withe the caps and shade.?🤔

I'm intrigued by this scope for NRL22, but was wondering, since it is limited to 14 mils of elevation travel, if mounted on Vudoo w/ 30 MOA rail, can it dial down enough to get a 50 yard zero?

Have you noticed any issues with parallax after using this scope? I got the 4.5-27 and a 3-24 forge and both seem all over while moving the eye regardless out what I try with the paralax

Wow have scopes advanced? I didn’t think you could get a wider range than something like 8-24x, 4.5-27x? Is that really accurate or a bit of a lie?
@8541tactical
@8541tactical 5 жыл бұрын
Advancement in design. They are able to stick larger magnification ranges in smaller packages. 6x and 7x ranges are becoming the norm in the top end scopes.

Nice scope...I prefer the MOA over Mills, only because MOA is a little more precise at long ranges than mills.

Todd K how often can you tell the difference on target between 0.1 mils and 0.25 MOA?
@toddk1377
@toddk1377 5 жыл бұрын
afkirby You can when shooting 500+ yards on a precision rifle. .1 mills equals .33 of an inch at 100 yards. I prefer optics that have 1/8 inch moa adjustments. It makes a difference, especially when shooting at small targets like prarie dogs at 3-500 yards out. Man size targets, then I'd say the difference is negligible.

I "hear tell" that this scope and the Nitro are Korean made. IS THIS TRUE? If so I'm greatly relieved that it's not Chinese made. Just bought a top of the line Japanese-made Bushnell Elite LRTS 4.5 - 18 x 44 (FFP, mil/mil and illuminated G3 "small Xmas tree" reticle). Excellent scope. It's mounted on my new 6.5 PRC Browning X-Bolt Pro with matching bronze Cerakoted Talley rings.
