Nice to see someone else using a camo rain fly ( Tarp ). Here in Florida for my comfort i use a Jungle Hammock with a Bushwack Camo Rain fly. The Bushwack Camo pattern blends into the woods really well. Both items are from Warbonnet Hammocks which I use all year.

Good video it's good to see less talk More substance I wish other people in the Bushcraft would have less talk. We don't have to know that you're cutting wood for a fire. And putting up a tent your action says it all. 👍👍🇨🇦😀

Absolute class this one Dean mate. Lavvu, tarp lean to shelter, sleep system, even your hammock to rest in. Love that tripod stand...was thinking of one of those years back...just trying to find a blacksmith to make one up for me nowadays is the problem...used to know loads of farriers back in the day that would have knocked me one up in the forge. That burl kuksa looks amazing too. Almost sorted for that stormy weather we had. And more ahead too methinks. Great organisation and just know carrying that kit on my back any distance would finish me off for sure 😂😂😂 Can't wait for the next installment. And the colours on your camera look very true too...noticed the difference from that conversation we had the time before last.

Hi Bushwacker Man Polish Laavu great bits of kit, The Laavu was put up inside out. The double layer shoulder covers go on the inside of the tent and if you look at the way the arm holes close you will see a baffle at the bottom which stops the water running into the tent I hope this makes sense and helps you. Great Video.

You and Buster are 'First Rate.' Your daughter Becky is a real star. Your wife is a skilled editor. So why buy into the Polish Lavvu that is making the rounds? Early on, you did a 'dynamite' survivor video and I was 'hooked' on your chanel. I really admire your long-term camp. Lately, you have gotten into the 'well-to-do' early retiree vibe and you 'look AMAZING', trim and relaxed. I would like to see you, maybe, be more of your early self. We are here for 'YOU' and not for 'fashionable' bushcraft.

A nice camp in the woods, the setup looks good and everything can be in the backpack awesome. But where on earth is the camp food, the big surprise, are you on a diet, it's not looking good. 🙄 The lamp on tripod, here in DK it is called a bat lamp, does not know what it is called in the UK, when I was a boy they were used to light in the henhouse in the evening. A super nice video, a great job there. 👍

Its a cool video! Ive watched another video about setting up a lavvu. I forget his channel name but he's a polish and he said that the outer side is the one that has no flap. If you set it in reverse, the water will get through inside. Is that true?
