Looks like longlasting no nonsens durable gear. Thats how you do it. Thanks for a great video. And nice weather too. Muddy and snow every other week here in Sweden

I never thought of a hot water bottle. That is a great idea for cold campouts. Good video!

Looks like good and hard wearing stuff, but also heavy. Ok in woods when it is flat, but that looks heavy for any elevation gain. Take that lovely ferro rod for example, its HUGE! How much does the whole pack weigh when full?
@BushwackerMan11 ай бұрын
The bag weighs around 15kg, its worth it weight in gold 👍👍

This was really good. I've been thinking of creating a more natural set-up myself. I like my modern kit as much as the next person, but I keep wondering what it would be like to head out with old skool gear & the bare minimum needed to survive. This is deffo food for thought.

Like the Petromax gear, the Bushcraft Spain stuff is the Rolls Royce of kit, but out of my price range unfortunately. I could still do the ploughpoint if it were a no choice situation, but with a DD tarp. That lantern is ideal for ambience...just what's needed to set the right mood for a camp. Absolutely loving that 2l canteen dude....wouldn't mind one of those myself. My biggest regret was not getting my family to bring one of the round Western ones from the US when they came to see me a couple of weeks or so back for my birthday. Love your setups mate...done in style

Funny enough mr B, I’ve been out for 7nights so far, using the plough point, got minimal gear and clothes, bit of hand washing going on, bushcraft (not loads though), plenty of hiking and just chilling, enjoying the great outdoors, great video m8 and take care 👍👊
