4X4 Camper | Wet & Windy Solo Campout

Weekend camping in my Land Rover Defender camper conversion with Oztent RV2 and Buster my dog. Carving a spatula and cooking on the Atago firepit.
Really blustery weather and some heavy rain but great to be camping in the Land Rover 110 with the Oztent right beside the vehicle for extra shelter from the showers and wind. Recently purchased a guitar so had a bit of practice around the fire pit in the evening. Spent some of the day making a spatula from a piece of Rowan and cooking chicken pot roast in the dutch oven. Great Autumn campout.

Just wanted to add re shade cloth as a ground sheet. Cut it about 12 inches larger then the footprint of the OZ tent and awning. It will keep the base of the OZ tent clean, protect it from sticks in stuff, you muddy boots will cleanas u walk over it and when u pack up u shake the shade cloth and all the dirt and debris just falls off. Wqsh it with a garden hose when u get home. Happy new year! 2022👍

Good morning Dean, I think we are good with each other, class, I like the same music. Oldies are oldies. To your barbecue fire, if you put a cone with a smoke pipe about 120 mm / about 5 inches on it in about 1 meter / 40 inches, you can heat well your awning and if you stand well with the Rover, also your tent. No problem, I can make you good sketches. Greetings from Frankfurt
