regarding EIN - in the address section -for a Sole proprietor Does the Government want the Address of the business? or Address of the owner of the business? If it is the Address of the Business - And this is a home based business, because it is a mobile business and do not have an office space But- have paid for a legitimate business address with a company and that address will be used as a business address and will be registered as a business address... is it appropriate then to use the paid for business address service on this government EIN form in the address section? This is a legitimate address that would work for a business address because no PO box or any box number. So in the address section of the EIN form - They are looking for a business address not an owner of the business address? Thanks!

Hi Ellie, very informative video. I am a new sub and have been following you via youtube and Instagram. I got a virtual address but it was a virtual mailbox. Long story short......my home address got mistakenly added to my LLC, I caught it after the fact, and the company that assisted me to set up my LLC and are also my ....................submitted an amendment and we got changed with the secretary of state. I then applied for my EIN using that address. However, they did not accept it for my DUNs. What should I do now? Should I get a Virtual Business Address, go through the process of doing a 2nd amendment, and address change across the board or should I use my apartment home address for my DUNs application??????

PO Box won’t work for an llc business - you need a regular address ! Use virtual address . Com or ipostal 1 - those are the best!

My state treats virtual mailboxes the same as P.O. boxes, and still wants a physical address. Do you suggest I get an address upgrade from iPostal or another company altogether?

If you don’t have a brick & mortar meaning a physical space use a corporate virtual address. Use Regus, we work, alliance, or opus. Always Google the address to view building location. This is what lenders see when searching for your business online. I heard stories where Ipostal virtual addresses have gotten flagged.

@BEtvdaytime I have been with Regus for 5 years and don’t have any complaints. They forward mail to home address when requested. The Regus office is located a high rise and offers space to accommodate business needs. I don’t need Regus to be reported to business bureaus to get a tradeline. The main reason people choose Opus because they report, cost , and business phone number.
