Why are so many teachers and principals against this stuff? Like, isn’t school supposed to prepare you for the real world?! If you are creative and do stuff like this, it should be praised because these kids grow up to be super successful, and get a lot of money, so they should not get shut down! It just makes me mad that there are a lot of principals and teachers like this…. And don’t even get me started on the snitches😡

When I was in high school, I made and sold 1x2-inch cereal bars for $1 each. I'd spend $5 on a box of rice crispies and marshmallows and bring home $30-$50 a week. I eventually made enough money to buy my neighbor's car. It was an old mustang and I fixed it up and sold it for 3x what I paid.

In 5th grade I started a business. I would start a new business every year except for the years under 4th grade. This year was my second year selling things. A lot of people knew me from 4th grade selling stuff. I would ask my mom so got to sams club to buy things in bulk, a 295 pack of jolly ranchers was only 12 bucks, I sold each jolly rancher for 50 cents. I saw business was booming so I bought more candy. People wanted to join so I ended up with 3 employees. Their job was to bring 3 pounds of candy a week in return for 10 dollars a week. We hid all this candy in a span of 5 lockers. Each person have a keychain on open all. I was the mastermind and made about 150 dollars a week spent 30 dollars a week to pay employees. So I made about 120 dollars a week. I was able to buy many things. Our principal never noticed. And it’s still going. I make about 500 dollars a week selling loads of snacks. And we keep all of the money in a locked book chest.

When my cousin was in elementary school, he made something called “basketball bucks”. It was a currency that he made and you could get it by winning basketball tournaments during recess. With the money you could buy snacks from the other kids in your class. Since he was the maker of all the money, he would make a little bit extra for him to use. One kid started making his own version, and so my cousin had to start putting serial numbers on all the money he made and supervise every transaction to see if it was legit or not. Big brain from the elementary student.

I love watching these vids bc it gives me creative ideas on selling stuff at school so every day I pack lunch in a mini bag but half the stuff that was in there is candy chips fruits etc and ratchet day kids at my school bid for them at lunch and I save money to buy stuff I need like a new phone bc mines broken and new shoes but I’m a cheerleader with my little sister and we throw gum at the crowd for our cheer and my sister collects the gum and we get up to 12 packs and each pack has 20 gums in it and we resell the gum at school for 1 buck each

I sold gum in school, bc my dad got me a pack of 300. I would sell them two for a dollar. Since I had all exotic flavors, kids wanted them. I thought my mom would be supportive, bc my mom wolds stuff in school, too. Everyone I knew also said that their moms were supported of this stuff as well. So when I told her, she acted like I got suspended, she lectured me for like 10 minutes saying how I could get in serious trouble, and things were different when she was younger

If I was told to shut down / return money from a black market in school, I wouldn't bend to the teachers' will due to the fact that I have already made the transaction and that the school policy/ rulebook doesn't say anything against it. Also, I would record the conversation so I have concrete evidence if I need to defend myself/ sue the school on court ( I would only do the latter if I wasn't a minor at the time

Some kids from my school made bracelets and called them “rainbow looms” and would sell them for 50 cents each. As it got more popular,they made stuff like “ chokers” and “fancy rainbow looms”. They made packs of all of there products and charged 5 dollars per pack. At the end of the year they made about 200 dollars

In middle school I happened to be really good at hair makeup and nails like intricate braids sfx makeup and extremely detailed nails. So I decided to have a lil business. During lunch I would do nails and I would do hair and makeup for special events. This went on my entire 8th grade year and the principal didn’t care but when I got to high school that principal really cared and shut it down. Overall made about $5,000

Why kids get shut down! Schools can get in trouble by parents for letting student do this. Some things are dangerous or students are allergic to the things depending on ingredients and stuff. Things like this can also get dangerous because people might start arguments, people might steal businesses and get in fights and it can get out of hand. These types of things lead to lawsuits, suspensions and being expelled.
