I still use my grandmothers recipe. She gets a long pan and puts down a graham cracker crust. She then makes her cheesecake. She bakes it about 40 minutes and pulls it out. She has sour cream, some sugar and lemon juice mixed together. She tops the cheesecake and puts it back in the oven. Once it is done you not only have to let it cool, it is best served when it comes out of the fridge ice cold. With a sour cream topped cheesecake, you don't need to top it with fruit or anything else. There is never one piece left after a family reunion and last time we made 4 of them. It was a ransomware attack. Something gets into a business IT system and locks up all their files and databases etc - company can't do business for long if they can't do their accounting or ordering or accept orders. Then the hackers send a message for the business to pay a ransom - millions, sometimes - for the hackers to provide a code that will unlock everything. So it's very lucrative. The most bizarre thing about it is that most of these ransomware hackers seem to be pretty "ethical" extortionists - nearly all the time, when a business has paid up, they get their data back. However, like any kind of ransom, law enforcement is telling businesses to not pay these ransoms. If you have good backups and good IT people, you should be able to get your data back. Then again, if you had really good IT people, it'd be less likely for the attack to succeed in the first place. So don't click on random email attachments, people! And don't pick up random USB drives you find lying around outside the office and plug them into your office PC! (Yes, I worked at one place where some security testers left 8 USBs lying around outside, and 7 of them got plugged into office PCs. This convinced the bosses to allow us to prevent USB devices from being read on most PCs.)

This world is rapidly passing away and I hope that you repent and take time to change before all out disaster occurs! Belief in messiah alone is not enough to grant you salvation - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36) if you believed in Messiah you would be following His commands as best as you could. If you are not a follower of Messiah I would highly recommend becoming one. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life - Revelation 3:20. Contemplate how the Roman Empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13 over the course of 1260+ years. Revelation 17 confirms that the beast is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years going back to Babylon and before, C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God. Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc. Have a blessed day!

Interesting that it was in the news that farmers were having to throw out ridiculous amounts of milk, yet there was a cream cheese shortage! Cream cheese is so simple to make, making it in-house would have been a great way to help profit margins. (I make cheese, yogurt and cream cheese at home, super duper simple.)
@jodyengelhard2 жыл бұрын
Simple indeed, until you need 1000s of tons a day. The electricity used whilst making all that cream would be insane.
@aminad69032 жыл бұрын
@@jodyengelhard if that were true, buying cream cheese would be cost prohibitive, since the company they buy it from has to both pay their electricity bill and make a profit. They could have also opted to use a co-packer.

No doubt your fresh cream cheese tastes dramatically better than that cold library paste Kraft puts out. Freshly homemade cream cheese is pure. Here in Poland it's made from cream and a culture. Period. No milk (the main ingredient in Philadelphia 'cream cheese') and no carob bean gum to make up for the scant cream content. Put that in your cheesecake and the flavor and quality will improve.

I’m not far from their outlet store in Burlington and thought I’d make a trip but after visiting their web site, I changed my mind. Their prices are crazy high, and this is at their outlet store. A plain NY cheesecake is $56.00, a strawberry cheesecake $68.
@hippieduck2 жыл бұрын
That's crazy indeed. What a bummer. Imagine how many cheesecakes one could make oneself with that kind of budget. And how nice it would be to, um, not have to do that...

Saw someone else's reply on another comment regarding their online prices and they pointed out how a large portion is just shipping costs. Maybe you could check out their store in Burlington after all.
@GNX1572 жыл бұрын
@@hippieduck Oh without a doubt I’m close enough to make it worth the drive if I was okay with the base price. Unfortunately I’m not that demanding or have developed taste buds, so I’m usually happy enough with the ALDI cheesecake for what had been $10 (now $13). It was imported from I think Germany, and wasn’t bad and didn’t have HFCS in it either. I haven’t seen them in my local ALDI lately though. Update: I just called the outlet store number and he said they do have first run fresh cheesecake that is the same price as online, but also other products that are lower priced or on sale in the outlet store. I didn’t ask for specific numbers though.
