@waqasahmed9392 жыл бұрын
It's quite a nice idea tbf. Also, I do wonder if this is truly better than burning wood. I imagine it's better than burning coal at least Still, it's good to at least think how can we reuse it. Perhaps if an independent study is done, they could get their results. Either way, it's marketable - An alternative to wood as a byproduct of the cider industry, and therefore not growing trees just to chop them down - Or if this turns out that it's worse than burning wood, then perhaps they could be just used as compost, in fertiliser

anything can be burned and used as fuel. the reason most things arent is because they dont have much energy in the first place. wood and coal is used as fuel is because they have a lot of energy that can be used. this? i dont know. might work. however most of the wood that is used in the world helps the forest than anything else. the actual problem is the expansion of old styles of cattle farms.
@wmman82562 жыл бұрын
The problem with deforestation is that they cut everything down. That biomass is what keeps he soil from erosion and washing downhill and into the waterways, causing them to silt up. This organic matter would be great to fight against desertification. You can just dump it on the desert or half desert soil and it will turn into a bush forest, theoretically. I saw one video about how orange peel turned a desert into a nice bushland. Many deserts are deserts not because of low rain, but because of poor soil which can't hold the water when it rains. Organic matter in huge amounts could help transform this soil.

There's no doubt it ignites easier than water... and once the fire has started, it's a real challenge to extinguish it.

Let's not forget that the biggest payouts in the markets don't come from great performances but rather it's great promotions. Stay invested, diversification for streams of incomes is very important.

This stuff would be PERFECT for BBQ. Add to that he's working on other ways to use the waste on top of the already available uses the brewery guy mentioned, this is some great news. Even for someone making ciders at home you could use your own waste for smaller examples like the vinegar or even just smaller logs for smoking meats. Lots of possibilities with this.

Great content! Thanks for always putting up an informative video. Understanding the concept of crypto is of great importance. People think investing in crypto is all about buying coin and then allow it to rise. Come on! It takes much more analysis to become a successful crypto investor

I love the idea do you think adding something straw or wood grain chips or something like that would help to stretch it out or help it absorb even more moisture from the fruit. Keep up the good work 😍

As someone else suggested, coconut dust from coconut shells may help. This would also make sure no trees are cut down

I'm in Australia and have a small beef cattle farm and feed my cattle apple pulp from a local apple cider producer. Cows love it, it's like ice cream for them. They have never been healthier, calves fatten quicker than just grass It's a win, win and great way to use a byproduct and help the environment.

I remember when they did a story on this in Kenya. The villagers made fire logs from scrap papers to power the community. Wonder if they sold excess yield to neighboring villages. 💭

I would think that would be such a treat for animals as a feed! He should have no problem with selling it for that! plus it's healthy and sweet!

I was kinda also thinking about why this isn't as a food for some animals. Is it fermented already? Or, at least to my knowledge, broken apple seed will produce cyanide in our tummies but don't know about e.g. cows.

As an idea for potentially speeding up drying and thereby increase production, why not use a biót log fire to dry the pomace? I don’t know how much of an effect it would have, but if a certain amount of biót can dry more than twice the amount of pomace to replace it then it would speed up production.

They said the fruit logs burn similar amounts of carbon as wood and some people might take that as a reason not to switch but you need to consider how many trees are being saved from being cut down and we all know the importance trees play in keeping the atmosphere in balance

Yep, and drying wood into charcoal takes even more. Can't just use the sun.
