Great video as always. I am impressed at the amount of homework you do for the areas you are looking to work in. From searching videos and pictures of other Buskers and where they're setting up to the checking into local rules and regulations. And then for you to share that information with everyone else is awesome. A real Class Act for sure. On a side note, I am interested to know how your guitar is holding up and all the weather conditions you're dealing with. Might be an interesting video showing the current condition and maybe what you do to protect your equipment from the elements.

Thank you for the kind words John 🙌🏻 just doing what I can to help out 😃 I love your video idea about the guitar and maintenance to keep it (kind of) weather proof 😎 I’ll be sure to include this in a video soon!

Rarely see buskers in Cardiff centre m pared to other cities. Only just started following but would have popped along to show support. I’ve only been playing 3 months.

So interesting, I wonder why? Good news for any local buskers though! I'm sure I'll be back at some point! 😃 🙌

I need to get practicing and maybe I could try busking at some point 🤦♂️. I’ll follow Instagram to see when your back 👍🏻

I visited Cardiff and thought Some of the smaller streets were ideal for acoustic (I.e. sans amp) busking, as they were prone to natural reverb and shelter.
@AugustRadioProject11 ай бұрын
So true!! There’s a few of those quainter side streets that are pedestrian only! 😃 such a friendly place too!

@AugustRadioProject Where "dog friendly" is the norm, then, in my experience, the donations are more than places where dogs are not welcome. Cardiff iss full of dog friendly places. I think this tip ranks alongside playing bear to a Gregg's. RAD as always. Eagerly awaiting the live cast.

Hey Ben Great video as ever Brother ! Cardiff does seem like a nice place to be setting up to entertain the people ! So i never commented on the last video as I had to run out from the house ! So the sound recording of that Showbox direct to SD sure gives a nice and clean sound performance , Awesome indeed that you got given one, Lucky Boy you are ! So I was curious how the it handled that Welsh rain downpour ! Clearly it survived which is cool, have you put in place some sort of protection on it ! Keep on Keeping on Mate !

Hey Brian! As said in the other comment - I was actually using my Samson Explor in Wales. I got a zoom handheld recorder and plugged the line out of the amp into it 😎 in next weeks video I explain how it works so look out for it 👀 thank you for your support as always! Don’t worry about last week 😊

You need a body camera like the police wear that's on at all times or something, don't want to miss anything!

Such a rad idea!! I’m saving to get a 360 camera that I might keep rolling throughout the sets… or maybe they’ll be the next company to give me something 👀🤣🙌🏻

Have you thought about uploading your sessions onto sound cloud or something? The new recording set up sounds great.

I’m definitely trying to think of how to utilise this new audio quality! Perhaps some ‘full song live vids’ too? 🙌🏻😃

how much did u make busking in cardiff in one day? and does manchester have busking licensing laws?
@AugustRadioProject5 ай бұрын
I say this somewhere towards the end of this video 😀 and Manchester doesn't require a licence to busk 🙌 from what I can see on Manchester Council's website, it's just standard busking etiquette but warns buskers to be aware of 'noise sensitive areas' which are: Junction of Market St/Brown St and the Covered area of Market St. I hope this helps!

Cardiff is the smallest city in Europe!?! Or, smallest capital city? . I live in the Swansea valley. Don’t go to Swansea to busk, it’s crap.
@BassNSax62811 ай бұрын
It’s not even the smallest capital city. No where near.

Supposedly the smallest capital city in Europe (Wikipedia!) 🤣🙌🏻
