Im read in pubmed buspirone is a total agonist of pre synaptic 5HT1A receptor, its partial agonist of post synaptic receptor... No 50% its 100% in pré synaptic, because of that, 2 weeks for total effect(Sorry my english)

Because of that buspirone lowers serotonin in synapse and enchanche sexual function, in combination of ssri, or alone... Womens with hipoactive sexual funciotion, give a augment in sexual function, because dopamin its raise indirectly, serotonin inibits dopamine because the activation 5HT2C receptors in dopaminergic neurons, on tegmental ventral area
