Great game plan, but here’s how it will actually go down: Colorado should be able to score on nearly every possession because none of your DBs can match up with CU’s receivers, and Shedeur will have just enough time to get the ball out. Given the intensity and possible frustration aimed at CU, I wouldn't be surprised if one of your D-linemen or linebackers ends up with a personal foul or even a targeting call. I predict at least two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties against the Huskers and possible ejection. There were at least three throws in the last game that would have been intercepted by CU's DBs, and I’m confident we'll see at least two INTs in this game, plus a fumble from the running backs. CU defenders are relentless when going after the ball, and I noticed some careless handling during the UTEP game. While there was only one fumble, it easily could have been more. With this in mind, I expect CU to go up by at least two scores, which will put immense pressure on Nebraska. The crowd will be taken out of the game, and Matt Rhule will likely play it safe to protect his five-star freshman QB, as all eyes will be on him. Rhule may simplify the offense to avoid shaking the young quarterback's confidence. My favorite part of the UTEP games was when the Huskers fumbled on the way to the end zone. I was as well as most of Husker nation was probably thinking, ahhh crap here we go again. I lived in Nebraska for 35 years. This is the first Nebraska team I've been excited about since Eric Crouch. 20 years of bad decision making. "Danny Woodhead can't play D1 because he's too short." I think it is a fun rivalry, but as far a TRUE "BLUE BLOOD" squad, I'd say for the Huskers, Oklahoma is rivalry #1, probably Miami with national title games is #2, and FSU is #3 with big bowl and National title implications. First of all lets make something clear. The CU new Oline is great. Now that the first game is out the way, they know what needs to happen and nebraska Dline aint all that. Second, There is NOT STOPPING Shedeur the best most experienced QB in College and the best WR Core in college Football. Sheduer doesnt need a lot of time to pick you apart and the extra time that he needed last year, he has it THIS year. Third. Nobody wants to address this. Nebraska has a HORRIBLE secondary. Its not work notable at all. last year everyone wanted to blame Nebraska QB. Yes he wasnt good but Shedeur completed TORCHED the Nebraska secondary with 400 passing yards easy! And now you give him even more crazy WR's in Jimmy Horn, Travis Hunter, 6''4 Will Sheppard, Lajohntay Wester, Omarion Miller, Drelon Miller and like 5 more. You cant play zone and good luck trying to play man or cover zero on CU Wide receivers. Just like North Dakota, Sheduer had the ball for like 3 mins because they can score so fast. The CU defense especially the run defense was incredible against ND especially the adjustments in the second half. NDSU is a MUCH better tune up game then UTEP so stop that comparison. Fourth, the CU secondary is just as nice with Shilo, Preston Hodge, Travis Hunter, Silmon Craig. The secondary is crazy. And travis can shut down one side of the field by himself. Lastly, Nebraska is the last team in college that can get into a SHOOTOUT with Colorado. Nebraska secondary was trash last year and they made NO improvements on the secondary this year. I don't have a good feeling about this. I think Prime is classless. He will have his guys cheap shot Raiola like they did to Adrian Martinez...
