1. Texas O line isn't Oregon or Tennessee. They have a better O line. 2. The Texas defense played nearly 100 snaps. 3. Texas has faced Will Howard during his days at K state. This is going to be close. If Texas can't run the ball, it's probably over. This Texas defense is going to come to play and be physical.

The complete difference is if Day allows his team to play aggressive on both sides of the ball, and not go conservative. Just depends on which coach, and scheme show up. I do think Texas has a faster secondary than Oregon, maybe they can hang with Ohio States receiving core... Should be a good game...

OSU is probably best defense left, ND is clear #2. Texas is arguably 3rd and PSU is close behind. But PSU gave up 400 yards to a group of 5 team and is #4 in missed tackles. That's not a top 3 defense.
