Jimmy said something I've only perpetuated to my closest friends. As someone who has stammers, I've surmised the supposition that a lot of people take from granted, which is the ability to vocalise your thoughts. Its something that's been instilled in us from our the moment out voice could be heard. "You must stand up for yourself." That statement is definitely an educational point in many different ways. It can get so tough, trying to have someone understand you and trying to ignoring the conspicuous pauses and repetitions. My stammer was brought on by PTSD. SO many people would never believe I even have this condition and will cite the previous few minutes of standard speech. which may feel like progress. But it gets increasingly tough to focus, on the conversation AND if the next word would fail you. Its starts to affect all aspects and every decision. Always with the primary goal of minimising the probability of a stammer sneaking out. Encouragement works like a double-edged sword most times. Like having someone ask to see your scars. I am definitely biased when I attest to disfluent speech being included as a debilitating medical condition. The ability to speak your mind, to clarify and to even correct is an incredibly pertinent skill. It has saved lives.

@jooseppielleese7156 he means on this podcast. And he's right, Bert and Tom aren't comedians. They're podcast people

Can understand Bernt saying "6 out of 8 cats" by mistake but to follow up after seeing it with "8 out of 10 cats, I was right" ffs 😂 real life Homer Simpson but no where near as lovable

I've been watching Jimmy Carr since the early 2000s, he's forgotten more jokes, than most American Professional Comedians. He's done multiple tours, while doing multiple television host shows. He makes American Comedians look like lazy high school stones living with their mom. The same thing that I did with custom paint and art.

This is why Jimmy is one of the best comedians of his time. They spent so long ripping brittish people, the best response Jimmy could ever have is just to kill it im the best way he could. It makes it even funnier once you remember, they had a teleprompter with the jokes. This is the first time i have ever watched this podcast, and after this performance.
