FreakingTweety To me the fact that he even released an album on that label is amazing. So many artists get signed there and never drop an album because of Dre’s expectations.

Two Cents Yeah and when an album comes out of aftermath it’s fucking dope. The production on Big Bang was amazing. By far the best album sonically busta ever did (due to coming out of Dres label)

Imo it also killed busts career. What has he dropped since. Aftermath was a cemetery for busta, eve, rakim, Raekwon and ice cube even signed but left before they're careers dwindled.

The fact that people are still talking about Buss today, shows he is one of the greatest to do it. He he came out in a group in 89 and went solo in the 90's. Only LL and Snoop have stayed relavent for longer. Before you say Dre,he is really a producer.

There really should be a Aftermath reunion like a album for all the present and past Aftermath artists. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Lady of Rage, Eve, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, 50 cent, Game, Kendrick Lamar, Rakim, Jon Connor, and Bishop Lamount.

Much respect to the Mighty Busta Rhymes. I as an artist would have felt the same exact way. He wanted his studio time and having other juggernauts like Em, Dre, 50, D12, and GUnit, I'd get pissed if my album gets set aside, especially an instant classic like the Blessed. That would have been his best, yet didn't get the attention that it needed. I support his decision

markissable as basic as the comment above sounds, that's really the truth. Unfortunately some people get Typecast, and Busta's dreads were a big part of his Persona. Once he shaved his dreads, it gave the appearance like he was trying to be like everyone else. I don't need that, but it took away a lot of his character. That crazy yet talented rapper people knew him as period is Stripped Away a lot of his style. Of course, people have a right to do whatever they want to with their own hair. But as a public figure trying to get public dollars, you have to cater to the people to a certain extent.

"Don't Touch Me" was dope! It sounds like the real reason the album didn't come out was label politics and bullish!t! Busta's trying to be politically correct. Aftermath seems to really abuse their artists. Busta, Rakim, Raekwon, Eve, Stat Quo, Bishop Lamont, so many rappers who recorded albums that never got put out or even finished. It's a shame.

Dre has had crazy talent on his label (Rakim, Raekwon, Busta Rhymes) and somehow dropped the ball, and those artists had to leave the label. It's crazy. I get the feeling Dre's heart isn't really in it. What other producer would let talented emcees of that caliber just leave their label.
