It's true though....stone roses did, I'm sure others have, theres a david bowie one that looks mimed....and at the oylmpic opening in london they have said some artists will mime.....Some one said 'It was a disgrace as england is a nation known for live music'...Which I dissagree with, on pop world and totp nearly all artists mimed lol It's a shame though cos they make artists who can play live and good mime!

They do play there own instruments But a lot of TV shows a few years ago made bands only sing or even lip sink so the performance didnt stuff up there Ratings

I know the performance is live but they're not actually playing the instruments, thats what I'm wondering about. We all know Charlie can play, so that just leaves the other 2, can't they play live?

I know this is kinda late so you probably know this by now, but incase you didnt. James definitely can play, if you havent seen it already, watch him do a segment at a mcfly show. Just him and his guitar. As far as i know its on youtube, "James bourne year 3000 mcfly show" something like that well find it

At the start they never sang live, cz they jumped all the time, bt then they started to sing live....u can normally tell cz of the ear piece they wear in their ear....of corse theyr nt realy playing lol

MrsLlama but the sound exsactly how it was on the album yeah it would sound similar but not that similar and the first bit of the guitar it's an acoustic guitar and Charlie's only playing that bit and he's playing an electric guitar not an acoustic guitar so that's one fact

Guess you're not a fan of his album sugar beach (the worst). But his other albums are good. He basically taught Charlie how to write music and now Charlie writes in a league of his own. James doesn't even come close. In order of singing for me, it was always Charlie then James then Matt. There's just raw beauty in Charlie's voice, kind of like an uncut jewel.
