You and me both! Hahahaha! It got put on the back burner again but I'm taking it to this years Drag Week. It's been too long of a wait. I got too comfortable with that 305. lol

Dude!!! Samesies, I'm about to put a 400 small block in my 1980 Camaro. But first I have a perfectly "not" running 305 to take out. Glad I watched this! Been watching for years! I'm also worried about hood clearance and what sort of exhaust headers I can use.

Man, I couldn't even tell you what headers I have on there. I think they're hedmen. They are a little tight, especially with the z-bar. You can always run a drop Base air cleaner to give you a little bit more room. I didn't have any clearance issues when I had the 400 in years ago and I was running an air gap intake which is pretty tall. Good luck on your swap and thanks for watching all of these years!

Hahaha. As you were saying what repairs you are gona do to the 305. I was thinking to myself, hes gona put it in the 69 C10. 😂

It's all good, Drag Week was still fun in Freebird. I messed with the cluster for a min but for the most part went went in easily.
