It’s the original shoulder patch of the US Army 45th Infantry Div. that took the nazi unholy city of Nuremberg. The division’s emblem was later changed into a Firebird to avoid needless confusion with the nazi black spider 🕷

Agreed! The first Buster Keaton movie I ever watched was The General and after that I couldn't get enough. Have you seen that one? Thankfully KZbin and also the Internet Archive help me to easily watch all these amazing silent films for free because many are in the public domain now.
