This time we have a dress draped with a bustier and flared gathered skirt. A long trend that has been around since 2020, but seems to be getting more casual with each season.
今回はビスチェとフレアギャザースカートのドレープドレス。2020年から続くロングトレンドですが、シーズンごとにカジュアル化が進んでいるようです。

とても勉強になります。しょっちゅう見てます。 シルクピンが曲がってるのを普通に使われてますが、あえて曲げて使ってますか？ 私はトルソーに布を固定する時に、ピンが真っ直ぐだと付けにくいので、あえてピンを曲げてますが、邪道だと言われますがどう思われますか？

日本で使用されている「シルクピン」は日本の柔らかい裁断ボディに直接刺せるように開発された日本にしかないピンです。長所は細いので布に刺しやすいことと、ボディにグサッと刺せることです。短所は横方向の圧力に弱く、折れやすく、ぐにゃっと曲がりやすいのです。ヨーロッパのピンはやや太いのですが丈夫で折れません。その代わりに横方向の圧力に曲がります。そしてヨーロッパのボディは日本製とは違って硬いので、直接ピンをグサッとはさせません。ですから、日本のシルクピンはヨーロッパのボディには使いづらいのです。私のピンは広くヨーロッパ中で使われているドイツ製のピンで、絶対に折れません。そのかわりに曲がります。長年使っているのでほとんどのピンが曲がってしまいました。でも大事に使ってます。

What weight of Muslim do you use? Do you use different weights for different results to go with softer of more structured fabrics?

Muslin weighs between 220 and 250 g. For dresses with a lot of draping I use muslin weighing between 180 and 200 g. Above 280 g, the fabric is stiffer and harder to pin.

what software are you using for screen mirror on your ipad to see what your doing while recording

I use a Canon SLR camera to record video. I then use an app called Canon Camera Connect to check the status of the recording.
