I'm busting ANOTHER 20 Super Mario myths and rumors in today's video. Where going to answer questions like how you can walk on air, the Wario apparition and look at cancelled Super Mario Games for the Nintendo Switch console. Also apparently Dorrie can eat you in Super Mario 64. Laser Suit, Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door on 3Ds.
In this video, I'll take a look at a complete history of Mario rumors. btw, that mirror room in Mario 64? It's actually an elaborate trick I believe. You aren't actually seeing a reflection I don't think. I think you're just seeing another Mario on the other side of the mirror, to respond to your inputs, creating an illusion of a reflection. Some really old games that had reflection-like effects would use that illusionary effect method to simulate a reflection-like effect, as at the time of some very old games, technology hadn't yet advanced enough for real reflection effects to work. I could potentially be wrong about that for Mario 64, but I do know games in the very long gone retro games eras, would use this trick to simulate a reflection in 3D games when technology couldn't perform it yet in gaming.

1:05 Fun fact: this bug can also be done in World 5-Castle (also using the Invincibility Leaf) and in Special 1-3, this time using a normal Star. Notably, the latter level is the ONLY one where you can do this glitch while playing as Luigi

One of my favourite myths is that mario in mario 64 us under an illusion by bowser and never actually wins due to the creepy cake ending and everything since then is marios imagination while being imprisoned pretty creepy !!! The game Ape escape for the PlayStation also has a plesiosaur character that you use as a platform but I’m pretty sure that one actually attacks you. It doesn’t eat you but it attacks if you interact with it wrong. Maybe a small amount of people are remembering that.
