It sucks, like he said it's just a gimmick. Some levels require a mini mushroom for star coins and you have to go all the way back to a level with mini mushrooms and then get one in your extra slot then come all the way back and get to the secret pipe or whatever it is.

This was k but I felt like every placement on this list was based on how powerful the power-ups are rather than how fun they are, which i feel would be a lot more personal and fun to watch rather than the anticlimatic end that, yes, the clutch power-up given to you for dying several times in one level that makes you completely invincible and gives you the ability to fly for unlimited amount of time, is the best powerup. Meanwhile ones like mini mushroom, double cherry and blue shell got under-represented as they are incredibly fun to use regardless of how 'strong' they are, which isn't really the main appeal of the Double Cherry, its mostly used for problem solving or additional fun in a multiplayer game.

Great video like always, though you should’ve made 2 lists: one being 2d power ups and another being 3D power ups. It’s pretty confusing how a 3D power up could be better than a 2d power up and vise versa without explaining why it’s better. As stated in the video Yoshi is a playable character in super mario 64 ds in super mario galaxy 2 he isn't a playable character he is something you ride and the power ups are based on affecting mario not yoshi

I saw it coming a mile away. The “win the level” power ups and pity power ups were at the top. No joke, you get the last two by dying multiple times in one stage. The top 4 all revert back to their respective regular power ups at the end of the level: acorn, tanooki tail, tanooki suit.

It's obvious Bowser and the T-Rex are number 1 and 2 while completely situational capture used for a single Moon would ve on the end of the list, like the meat, cactus, tree, and Bowser Statue you have to capture.
