We're back with more mythbusting content! This time, we're diving into the 5 "runes": ultrahand, ascend, fuse, recall, and autobuild. I don't count the camera, map, and amiibo on the wheel as runes.

For anyone wondering, armor simply subtracts from the damage. 1 armor prevents 1/4 heart of damage. So if your armor is 20 and you take 40 damage, you lose 5 hearts. If you take 80 damage instead, you lose 13 hearts not just 10. Every attack has a minimum damage that cant be reduced (usually 1 except for special enemies and bosses) and elemental damage is applied separately and ignores armor.

You actually can't ascend through the depths flat ceiling. I tried making a flying machine and used floating platforms (thrown thanks to an arrow fuse) to test it out from a steady surface. The game doesn't let you ascend at all, you can only do it from under the square pillars.

You can get the Items with Autobuild out of the build if you attach something to the thing you wanna dettach and dettach the other Item(s) it was already attached to in the autobuild.

Try to fuse with an autobuilt thing by attaching it to the ladder from the well.

One thing to add: your theory on Ascending through The Depths ceiling is incorrect. The Depths ceiling geometry is specifically designed to be incompatible for Ascend, which prevents the ability from working (Ascend only works on relatively flat ceilings). Ascend will only work at specific one-way Ascend elevators.

Batteries, big batteries, and floating platforms (not float stones) all cost more than 3 zonaite. A few objects can't be autobuilt (like water balls from water temple or the rope ladder from a certain well). These objects can be saved in autobuild (but won't spawn), but don't add to the zonaite cost.

i found a place where you can resch the roof of the depths but the game doesnt allow you to ascend through it i think its bc of the loading zones

When you auto build as long as you use one real part you can separate items created with zonite

For the last one (I guess it was technically two) you mentioned pseudo items from auto build will be destroyed if they aren’t fused with anything. Well, that is the case MOST of the time. There are a few items that when replicated from auto build will still exist when not fused to anything. From what I know all of the items come from the Construct Factory. The items are also unbreakable and can be used for some pretty funny builds/cheese. The most important item is the “low grav railing”, you have to break it off an elevator platform in the (iirc) left leg depot. The easiest way is by using two stabilizers to force it off. The railing gives low grav to whatever it’s attached to and is extremely light. When replicated from auto build, it is able to exist without being fused to something. Another item from the Construct Factory is a block that is supposed to be used to connect your build to a railing. For this one though, very little smuggling is needed, as you don’t need to detach it from anything before you get it into auto build. It is indestructible and has been shown to easily cheese lynels as they will constantly roar to destroy it but it doesn’t break so they are caught in a loop. And just as an opinion from me, this video seemed to have a bunch of “fluff”, as in things that are very obvious in game. Such as the 21 build limit, the timer on ascend, recalling dropped items, and ascending from the depths to the surface (there are a ton of those towers built for that specific purpose). The myths that you covered that felt more like a myth busters thing were the bomb vs spring hight, ascending through projectiles, and the slight auto homing of recalled projectiles. Those gave info that wasn’t too out there but also is something that could be missed by people who have extensive playtime (I have 335+ hours). I think one really good tell of whether it’s a good myth or a fluff one is whether or not it appears in a shrine (as the intended way) or in a quest. Overall great video, keep up the good work!

Most if these are very well known and kinda "duh" The last one though....I have an autobuild of about 16 red barrels . So try that out. Save a 2 barrel autobuikd, use it , autobuikd again, save the 4 barrel, autobuikd again save 8, autobuild again save 16 etc...
