Myth 20, the rolls are determined at the beginning of the turn in MP1 is actually true. Save quitting resets it and rerolls. Using save states on Switch will allow you to get better tests for it. Fun fact, the turn order dice are also predetermined, however it is determined by order hit and not by character. What I mean is, say you do a save state before clearing the text, roll and the first person hits a 2, 2nd hits a 4, 3rd a 7 and 4th a 9 then reset the save state. You would roll in different character order and each character will get a different number, but it will always come out 2-4-7-9.

Good stuff! 9:02 Not sure if this is really a myth as I think the instructions actually mention the red coins in the snowballs. 11:40 I wish Jamboree brought back the taunts. Yes, they were annoying, but that was the point. Though, I think in Mario Party 6 and 7, you actually had to unlock taunts.

Here's one for you that I've experienced: In Jump The Gun, if you are the one shooting and your partner jumping is a CPU that is at least on Normal difficulty (haven't tried it with Easy yet) you are pretty much guaranteed a win, as the CPU will never fall.

Myth testing is always fun! I’ve always liked these types of videos. This kinda makes me want to submit my own myths to be tested, such as: Mario Party 4: If you get the Bowser Suit from Bowser and then pass his space on Bowser’s Gnarly Party, then some sort of special interaction happens (I’ve played quite a bit of MP4 and never gotten the Bowser Suit even once) Mario Party 6: On Castaway Bay, if DK is currently at the star space and you take the water slide to get there faster, Bowser will always try to shoot down your raft. If Bowser is at the star space however, he’ll leave you alone when you go down the slide. Mario Party 8: You can predict where King Boo’s lair might be in King Boo’s Haunted Hideaway based on where the starting location appears on the incomplete map (I.e. the start doesn’t appear in the exact same spot on the screen in different mansions)

Im gonna see how many of these “myths” are actually done correctly in the video 1. He literally said the myth was wrong in the video. 0:05 (there are mushroom spaces) 2. This does not apply for anyone that actually has a brain, playing against easy cpus doesn’t prove anything. 0:26 3. You did this myth wrong. There IS a different sound effect when landing on a space with a hidden block, not on the map. 1:16 4. This is not definitive proof this is the better strat, since mashing overall gives you more precision, (also i can tell you weren’t mashing at max speed) 5. This is one not true, 2 rounds of testing isn’t really confirmation (im fairly sure there are certain holes that don’t have this same logic) but also you said get in the hole, you never got in the hole during these shots. 4:48 6. Unrelated, but stuff like 8:43 is just dumb, you’re basically showing people how to cheat, and these mostly aren’t myths, just things either made up or a subscribe plug. 7. 10:50 Playing against cpu’s isn’t proof. 8. 13:05 PLAYING AGAINST CPU’S ISN’T PROOF Most of this video is just not myths or him playing once and going “myth confirmed” despite not playing against real humans

While I agree with you on some points, some myths are obviously meant to be against CPUs. Like clearly the Squared Away and Hot Cross Blocks ones wouldn't work against real people. The myth is about predicting the CPU's patterns. That being said, I think it would've helped if he ran the tests a few more times and made it clear it was against Master level CPUs. Of course Easy CPUs would be extremely predictable.

While I agree the results in this video are very indecisive due to sample being WAY too low I HEAVILY disagree on your 2nd, 7th and 8th points. It's obvious those myths can only work on algorithms which are unable to learn and adapt to user's inputs unlike actual people. I don't see how this would debunk the myths

Only items in 1 were the mushroom spaces( chance to go again or lose your next turn) and the towns shop stuff. You want to gamble your coins or have a chance to move more or less movement? Then play with the stuff. Helps while maxing your coins. Edit might help with the stars
