Thank you for another encouraging video. I believe it takes perseverance to sail through to wherever one wants to go. I have also realized that if you confess that your salary is too little for sure you will accomplish nothing with it. I like your general outlook to life Dr Monisha.

Hi Doctor. I have a question. The seats are limited for Indian students only or limited also for fmges? I mean fmges are considered as Indian students? Or the fmges are included from the country where they completed their Course of medicine? So they have a chance of giving plab from their respective Abroad countries..

To be honest, single household income with 3 dependants would be a bit difficult. I think it would be difficult anywhere in the world for that matter given current inflation. Maybe if you look for jobs in smaller towns where quality of life isn’t that expensive and if your partner could help/work as well. Maybe that could help?

I absolutely love watching your videos, so helpful at every level of plab journey. I do have one question though, do you think it would be possible to get plab 2 dates in 3 months in 2023 (like it used to be) as there will be no covid delay? As of now people are getting plab 2 dates after 6 months because of covid delay. Do you think things will get back to normal in 2023 (assuming there is no covid?)
@Ck_dEviL2 жыл бұрын
True, right now its 6 months. But if you want the seat in early 2023, it might take 4-5 months approx, although if u are in luck , u might get it in 3 months Late 2023 might be what you are talking about, there will not be much covid effect.

She can come visit on tourist visa when you are appearing for exams. Once you have GMC registration and find yourself a job which then gives you tier2 visa. She can then apply for dependant visa on your tier2 visa.

@@maithrikannan5245 You must mean the University of Buckingham's latest scam, the two year "M Surg" degree during which candidates are expected to also study for and gain the MRCS. They claim that the combination is is "analogous" to Core Surgical Training, and they charge only £34,020 a year. The main entry route requires IELTS, PLAB and full registration with the GMC. The website, including the course brochure, also mentions an alternative pathway for candidates without PLAB, details of which are available if you contact them by email. It's obvious that you have to contact them to find out how to evade the PLAB requirement. Asking a psychiatric trainee in England is unlikely to clarify matters. This "alternative pathway" might be like their previous scam, their two year MD in general medicine, which was not going to require GMC registration at all: it sounded as if the candidates were going to be equivalent to undergraduate medical students, who don't require GMC registration either. In that case they suggested that MD students would be able to study for and take the MRCP at the same time. I don't think it ever took off.

@@faithlesshound5621 after my mbbs i want to study masters of surgery in general surgery how can i do that in Uk? Do u have any idea?
@faithlesshound56212 жыл бұрын
@@maithrikannan5245 If you want to follow the Indian pattern of medical education, but do it in the UK, you had better have lots and lots of money to waste. If so, why bother with surgery at all? Rich people study the history of art. On the same principle as these special programmes for relieving Asians and Africans of their money, there are American-style colleges in tourist centres all over Europe where rich kids from the US can have a good time for a year or so and still get college credits. Locals don't use them because the curriculum overlaps with what they can get free at high school. Indian entrepreneurs have been in this business for a long time. Rishis and Yogis have been teaching meditation and such-like to naive foreigners for a century or more, and now they come to study arts and crafts including "Ayurvedic Massage," Unani, etc, etc.
