But it’s funny with my mum’s side when someone says ‘the twins’ no one knows which ones they’re talking about - have identical male & identical female twin cousins. Twin genes are strong in my mum’s side (3 sets in my generation alone). Dad’s side thought it was hilarious when my parents announced their twin pregnancy - as far as we’ve been able to trace, we’re the first set of twins in their family tree 😂

Getting punished together is sometimes just a sibling thing. My brother is two years older, and we both constantly got lectured for what the other person did. I had a habit of rarely washing my dishes; my brother washed his religiously. On multiple occasions, he got lectured for not doing so even though he always did. I also got lectured a lot for stuff he did even when he wasn't in the room. "I didn't even do anything," was a common phrase in our house
