Just wondering... as I’m going through your videos stuck as I am in the Channel Islands (exiled from the Midlands) is there a class difference between the 8 and 12 car Thameslink sets? Also, why does Derby now only merit 5 car DMUs where they got a full HST set when I used to do the journey? Also, another good film. Thanks.

Tom Lee First the thameslink train serve 8 and 12 car trains there isn't really any class difference to them. Second, the HST's are getting old now, since the 222's are newer to them. They then replace them on some routes, but still the HST's are still running on some routes.

Why were thameslink trains terminating at St P? I thought they were all to go through the A & B platforms

H010 remember that Kings Cross and St. Pancras are super close together, hence the name on the tube station. Some Thameslink trains go to Kings Cross, some go to St. Pancras
