Well I've missed this little gem til now but I think this might be the most inspiring video I've seen of yours to date. Knocking on 10 weeks into your program now and the fact is, my wife wouldn't let me quit even if I wanted to.

@@busydadtraining the benefits have been visible, tangible and even audible my friend - I have apparently stopped snoring and having frightening episodes of sleep apnea altogether since starting down this road.

The level system is inspired, giving you something to work towards in a given time is consistently challenging. There have been many times I thought I would quit during a given work out but needed one or two more to reach my mini goal for that session or week which this system helps with massively. I managed to achieve my next mini goal of 120 6cts this week after hitting a plateau for the last couple of weeks and not being able to get many more than 100. 8 weeks in and I can feel the programme really working and 120 6cts would have been inconceiveable for me at the start. I'm excited to see where the BDP takes me (update 120 6cts PB/50 Navy seals PB).

Watching you talk with such enthusiasm and passion is tremendous motivation to me. After getting over a really bad cold I'm now much better. I managed 166 two pump burpees in 20 minutes this morning, this time last month that number was 135. Thank you so much for your contributions on here...............

Excellent video, and great to hear about your struggles and how you overcame them by completing your previous plateau. I don't know what I'd do without setting myself regular challenges and although impossible to improve every time , I take pride in showing up and giving it all I've got and always after that I'm 💯 again . I think so much of people's health both mental and physical could be solved with a program such as this . Thanks for the support and inspiration

You've convinced me, Busy Dad, to give your program a try. I am working with a recovering left shoulder, so I am slow at the moment. I timed myself and was able to do 30-6 counts in ten minutes. And then I was gassed out haha. I'm working toward level 1A (50 six-counts in 20 minutes, I believe). I like the fact that your program based on good form burpees within timeframe helps keep the work intense, intentional, and progressive I am not a dad and normally lift weights, but some days I am too busy to go to the gym. :)

Cracking explanation Max thanks, I’ve recently hit 50 NS and 125 6 counts, with training programmes I’ve done in the past I’d be tempted to coast along for a while, but using the level system I’m already inspired to push toward 1D for both in my remaining workouts for this week. I’m on my 5th week and loving the simplicity and the clear goals, it really is revolutionary stuff.

I’m beginning to understand your BDP program, Busy Dad. The tier system makes sense; it helps you gauge your progression. I haven’t heard of anyone create a training protocol for burpees like yours. Many burpee practitioners just pick a number and exercise and have a go at it, which is fine, but structure helps keep you consistent. You said that you’ve been doing this program for 19 months or so. How long can one can train in the program? I have lifted weights and some programs for example are meant to be used for 15 weeks. Also, thanks for the wisdom. Been feeling sad about things in life but like you said we can’t indulge in that when others depend on us. At the very least, with physical exercise, we have something we can take pride in even when everything around us feels like it’s going downhill.

A timeless philosophy for a good life. 120 navy seals in 20 is a hard achievement. My highest is 100 in 19 1/2 minutes so far, using a beep on the two minutes mark and doing ten rep sets. Will try and push to the next level!

@@busydadtraining thanks Busy D, I've uploaded a short 150 burpees vid so you know you're conversing with a real burpee practitioner! I don't think I'll ever graduate the BD program, if I go unbroken and up my work rate 20% I'll still be way off the cap and gown 😬

@@busydadtraining hey, I've actually beaten my best which was 102, did 110 today. I'll upload it later when I've got home and checked the reps. Your vids have directly pushed me to push harder so this community spirit is really helpful, especially not having real live training partners
