I felt so bad for the dad! He was trying so hard but still let people down. From trying to make it to the championship game but being stuck in traffic and blamed for it, and then he runs around stores just to get presents for his son to make him happy? He cares so much. I feel so bad-

I definitely agree on this....dads are always showed as the bad one...they work so hard...just to fulfill his family's needs and wishes...after that so the child expected him to pay more attention towards him...either you get the gifts from him...or the time he gives you.

But see if the point of the video is saying that yes the boy likes his gifts but he's still sad cuz he doesn't get time with his dad his dad keeps promising and promising but never delivers because you can still buy gifts for a kid but that's not what a kid always wants sometimes all a kid wants is time with their mom or dad that's it it's the bond that he's wanting with his dad cuz sons and dads daughters and dads sons and mothers daughters and mothers the bond that the kid has with their parent that's what a kid really wants

You can tell you really cares about his son. He kind of reminds me of my mom because she would work on her small business, and now she works at the hospital, but then and now she wouldn't be able to come to events like final acting performance, and for my sister; cello group. I honestly don't know what to say about this. Money is more important than anything. Otherwise why do schools and universities and jobs exist? Why is Dhar Mann uploading these videos today? For money. What Dhār Mann is trying to teach is that instead of you to be feeding your family and working to put food on the table, you should go ahead and waste your time to watch some children play some stupid games. That man still has the audacity to spend time with his son even though he disrespected him in a bad way. That man didn't graduate from university to do that with his son. He deserves to focus on his career and his future success. Everybody says there is room for improvement, but this video's room for improvement is vast. Sorry to say, but this is NOT how kids should act. American kids are always like this and therefore they are very spoilt. Bro instead of wanting your father to waste your time with you go focus on your studies.

this kid is the sweetest and so polite. He asked to be excused, took his plate. He is trying so hard to get approval. Those new items are thousands of dollars and all he wants is just to spend time with his day. Love his mom is so supportive but honestly if your work doesnt end at work hours, and it hurts your family, its not worth it If your on the books, getting paid overtime, with set clear boundaries, you can still work around it. But working at the dinner table not listening to anyone, why come home? So you can pretend to be there and they can pretend to be happy while it destroys them? 4:47 in, and it is Dhar Mann, so I'm expecting to be crying and there to be a sweet ending. Honestly, this is a bit wrong. As someone who was a basketball kid, I’d have to bike miles to the school, my parents didn’t show up to a single game until our tournament championship for freshman year at our own tournament. I was dropping 20 a game, and it was never their fault. Between jobs and siblings and other things, it’s impossible to do it all. I’ve always been gracious that they let me play the sport.

That"s not the point. Always cherish the little moments, you never know when it's going to be your last time on Earth. You are missing the point, the dad never made any time for his son. That's the whole point of the video, spend time while you are able. Kids are going to remember who was in their lives and who wasn't.

Well..there is an alternate solution...You can always do what this dad did at the end...He stated that his son is more important than the multi million dollar deal, and left office.... Please try to understand, one should not be expected to work beyond working hours... After working hours, it's personal time...The family wasn't expecting him to spend time during working hours.

All dads that prefer work over their kids aren’t the bad guys; it means they love them even more by trying to put a roof over them and food on the table. Think about it. If Bruno’s dad had focused on him his whole life in n out wouldn’t even be an option.
