I like this very much I do do temperament testing, but I would never do it so high up for sure. The puppy could fall off and injure himself and as to born with hip dysplasia, that’s not true.

The hip dysplasia being developed at birth is a very rare occurrence but I have witnessed it first hand as whe I used to run my dog daycare, there was a corgi puppy, few months old, attending our daycare and we were told to not let him be very active or jump on furniture as it had already was born and diagnosed with hip dysplasia by the vet. Many Golden owners have also told me that they are seeing it happen and also a breeder was notified to stop their breeding. It is happening also with German shepherd and border collies and few other breeds. So, it is very true and it is a fact.

@@SaroDogTraining Birth Puppies are born with normal hips, which are made of cartilage that will turn into bone as the puppy grows. Development Within a few weeks of birth, the ligaments and joint capsule that stabilize the hip joint become loose. This instability can lead to the head of the femur becoming incompletely surrounded by the pelvis, a condition called subluxation.

You did not expose anything, Ive bred and raised 100s of performance dogs over 50 yrs, and there is nothing wrong with the way those pups are being raised or handled it is all a part of building the temperament of the pup and exposing them to a vast array of scenarios of what he will encounter as an adult, the only thing you need to be careful of is don't let the pups jump off things taller than they are as their joints are green and lose and the jolting can hurt them, which the guy was very careful that the pup would/could not jump of, the minor stressors put on the pup to walk up a ramp and over foreign obstacles is great for balance and opening the pups mind up. A major issue with hip dysplasia and structural problems is poor diet and being overweight while their joints tendons/ligaments are flexible and forming, what this guy is doing with his pups is a good thing, Im sorry but you have had little to do with working dogs and don't understand the building of a dog mentally and physically.

As an individual, I have my own set of standards when it comes to important decisions, like choosing a breeder for my dog. Based on how you described the way you raise your puppies and the practices shown in the video, I wouldn't choose to work with you. A responsible and reputable breeder operates differently from what's been shared here. Unfortunately, many people may not give much thought to who their breeder is, but I personally believe it’s essential to be selective. And while I respect your experience, just because you've been doing something for 50 years doesn't automatically mean it's the best approach. That’s just my perspective, of course.

@@SaroDogTraining Id rather you point out whats wrong with what I said about temperament, nutrition and the building of a dog because so far you haven't said a thing thats factual in the real world of dogs, I can go into any part of the dog as deep as you like , you can be responsible and as reputable as you want to imagine, and be ignorant to the facts, for you come out and try and to profess whats right or wrong at that fellas expense when you are wrong, sheeese!

You mentioned that, "there is nothing wrong with the way those pups are being raised or handled; it’s all part of building the temperament of the pup and exposing them to a variety of scenarios they’ll encounter as adults." You also seem to agree with the practices shown in the video, while attributing hip dysplasia to diet. While diet and weight management can certainly exacerbate the condition, hip dysplasia is largely hereditary and genetic. The activities shown in the video with such young puppies can contribute to improper development and result from poor breeding practices. I’m not implying that you are a bad breeder- I don’t know you personally- but based on your explanation, I wouldn’t choose you as my breeder. Let’s agree to disagree on this.
