Your feels from Tuesday (and.... well.. every day) are super relatable. I am exhausted. Planning takes sooo much longer than it did for in-person learning. When I feel like I finally get "caught-up" on everything, more gets added to my list. And, of course, THE TECH ISSUES. My district just made the decision to go online until January, and I know this is going to take lot of work, but I also know it will get better. I love your videos! They remind me that I'm not alone in this.

Definitely helpful! I love your ideas and it really helps to know that others are struggling to make all of this work. I am teaching pre-algebra to middler-schoolers in a synchronous setting. I teach from my classroom, with students in the room with me and students joining in from home at the same time. We're a Microsoft school district, but I have been able to use a lot of your ideas. Finding your videos actually reminded me of all of the fun organizational things I used to do before I allowed others to make me feel like I was being too "extra." I have a kindred spirit over there in MD, so I have dusted off all of my old faves and incorporated some new ones, thanks to you. As a result, my district has asked me to be a presenter at our local teacher conference celebrating teachers! Keep keeping it real. I love that you don't sugar coat everything and try to act like everything you do is perfect. Everything you do is awesome, by the way, even when it doesn't quite work and you end up tweaking it. That's life and part of growing as a teacher. I love that we all get to share that with each other here. :)

You’re so lucky you get to go on vacation whenever you want! Western PA schools are VERY strict with that. We get 10 sick days and 3 personal days. Only 2 personal days can be back-to-back and every one of them needs approval. If you use a sick day when you aren’t sick you will be punished or even fired! Is is like that everywhere? Granted- we do get the longest summer out of almost every other state 🤷🏼♀️
