That’s the million dollar question! We have all this talent and I hope they can teach and bring the best out of these young men. Talent doesn’t mean anything if the coaches can’t bring that alpha player out of them mentality

Coaches can only do so much! The players have to want it and go the extra mile! Why do I say that? After the Pitt game which was a lose by Miami, OC Lashlee and WR coach LIkens called out the WR group for not fighting for the ball and drops. This was not just because of that Pitt game but the Clemson game and the first games of the season. That Sunday, it was open competition for the starting WR spots all week. Mike Harley had his best game of his Miami career against Virginia. In the post game press conference, Mike Harley who is a SR said during that open competition week for starting WR's, he for the first time in 4 years at Miami worked with the juggs machine after practice along with watching film. This kind of thing was being done for those great Canes teams and players in the 80's, 90's and early 00's without being asked.

Wouldn’t matter if every recruit we signed was a 5*, they won’t get the proper coaching to develop that talent & prepare them for the NFL.

if Williams is fluid enough to play safety i'm ALL FOR IT! if not i'm ALL FOR HIM! helping out NEAR THE BOX! because we have Avontae Williams,K. Kinchens,B Balum as safeties I just hope this staff do the right thing with J.Williams as well as the rest of the class coach Lashlee better be drawing up hella plays because with last years class on top of this class our WR room is FILLED TO THA BRIM!

A drama free class. Everyone that de-committed re-committed and we got our QB. The only glaring issue is CB. But other then that this is a great class.

Totally agree top 10 class for miami talented class but can the coaching develop the talent .

Start James Williams at safety. Go from there. Maybe he outgrows the position and moves to LB, maybe DE. But coach him up.

HELL NO THEY CAN'T COACH THEM UP.... we don't have anyone on the staff that can....hire T-rob, Charlie strong, Michael Barrow, & Clint hurt...guy's who can recruit and develop players...this staff is full of INEXPERIENCE coaches and YES MEN, manny probably want fire until he gets the AXE
