This movie was in the video store when I was just coming to terms who I was, and it really helped me realise that I wasn't alone.

Natasha looks so frickin' cute throughout this whole thing, especially at 6:03-6:09.

This reunion was touching beyond belief. I was a little queer kid from a small town who wanted to see other queer people, and that was in movies. The satirical side and the gayest side had so much joy when i saw but im a cheerleader. I just want to thank all these people for making a difference. For making a movie that not only reflected them, but to the community so we feel seen. OG heroes forever

Just watched “But I’m a Cheerleader” for the first time since I was in college 10+ years ago. It’s basically perfect and, IMO, the message is very needed.

I appreciate this film so much. I had no idea what it was about, and my mom refused to let me rent in the 2000. 😂 I finally watch it in my college dorm in 2003 with my roommate from China. I just kept turning and watching her reactions eating her cup of noodle wide eyes. I think she was confused by all my cheerleading photos, with team mates, hugging at nationals. 😂 Thank you for sharing this reunion! Totally made my day! Remember you have the #AbilityToBeAwesome!

I LOVED the film (I was 40 when it came out) and I love that it's led to MUNA's "Silk Chiffon" video homage to the movie.

I love this movie sooo much. For a while I had been questioning my sexuality and when I stumbled across this movie, it was like everything connected and made sense. I owe this movie so so much as it made me realize that I like girls and I like them a lot. This is such a comfort movie for me and I rewatch it every few weeks. Love the cast too!!

It’s so sad and disturbing that since this movie came out the practice of „Conversion” abuse at camps has grown significantly as has disownment of LGBT teens where some become unhoused.

Absolutely not. To have been in a movie with Robin Williams..means you have been touched by Greatness….and no one can take that away!
