So disappointed to hear it could've been a gritty, political drama. No joke, the politics and international tensions were one the most interesting parts of the movie for me. I'm glad the recent play honed in on that, the broadway musical actually pretty much cut everything I wasn't too into and emphasized everything I was more interested in. Thanks for the info!
