Butch Brown landing a 19.3lb Largemouth Bass on a Huddleston Deluxe swimbait. Video from the huddleston deluxe website.
Please visit WWW.HUDDBAITS.COM for more information on these amazing swimbaits.
As far as I am aware, this is Butch's biggest largemout to date. The fish was caught on March 28, 2008. Not only an amazing catch, this may be the single biggest largemouth bass ever on film from the strike to the net. Butch is the man!

I used to night fish this lagoon. It’s absolutely loaded with Toads! The way they smash a slow rolled chatter bait along the bank line in the summer time is unreal. Senko and drop-shot also work well there. My PB came out of there, 12 pounder. We would pitch a tent and fish most the night then wake up early and leave before the ranger came through to collect the overnight camping fee. I remember one time leaving a bass on a stringer (to eat later by the campfire with my dog Max) while I continued fishing & catching many more that I released. After sunset I got hungry so headed back for my fish only to find nothing but the lips were left on the stringer. A raccoon or otter had stolen my dinner. Had to share a can of beans with ol’ Max that night.. 🎣 🦦

This video is a great example of why I don’t bass fish. He literally reeled the fish in under 30 seconds. I don’t understand how that’s exciting at all. I fish for the fight and to hear my reel pull drag, most of the time people are skipping bass along the top of the water.

@@clintonbruning there’s a youtuber that just moved to Texas and he caught 5 fish over 10 pounds at the same lake over a 3 day span. Since he’s lived in Texas his fished like 4-5 lakes and caught a double digit bass every time. Then you have iconic lakes like Lake Fork where there’s huge bass. Wow. I can't believe the comments on this video. That is the fish of a lifetime and he had the privilege of landing her. For those of you that don't know, it's a swimbait setup for throwing big baits. You don't toy around with a fish when it hits a 1.5 - 2 oz bait as they have every chance to throw it. Set the hook and get her in the boat. I'd rather have the 19lbr on my resume than loose sleep over missing her. smh

Two species. Northern species and Southern Species. Any bass 7+ is consider trophy bass for southern strain. Northern strain any bass 5+ is consider trophy. Northern strain will always be smaller but northern strain lives longer compare to southern strains. But when comes to bass. Anything bigger than 3 lbs is a good feeling.

madara uchiha Anther thing is a lot of these guys are fishing reservoirs or deep lakes where they use a lot of lake structure and bottom contour to influence fishing tactics. Good to know, but not to helpful if I am fishing a lake 8 feet deep everywhere and the bottom is basically all mud and no structure.
@zajdabneeg
@zajdabneeg 9 жыл бұрын
TheBushwooky I am a shore structure type. In my midwest states where the whole shore is mostly thick mats of algea the fish in most case rather prefer to hide there. I am more of a tournament fisherman. I want to get my bag going and will put deep fishing more towards when the sun is up high and the bite is slow. With good electronics you will find fish. This is why to fish deep best thing to have is electronics. It is the eyes to see bottom structures. In your case I would target shore and if you want to do deep fishing use jigs and run them on the bottom to disturb causing fish to be trigger.

That's Butch Brown the famous bass trainer. He raises the bass from small little fry in a fishtank in his home. When they get too big for the tank he puts them in an enclosed area of the lake. He then trains em to grab only his special lures which he of course sells. This fish was named Mr. Limpit and he has had it for about 10 years. Sorry to say shortly after this video Mr. Limpit was caught again and turned into fish and chips. Have a nice day.

HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A 13 POUND BASS!!! That fish dwarfs a 13 pounder! My PB is 12.2 and this fish is behemoth compared to it. Stop being jealous scrub. It's an absolute once in a lifetime bass

Great. Thank you. I use the calcuttas and love the loomis swimbait rods. (but the guides they use are way too small for many leader applications. I had changed mine and a friends rod due to the I.D. of the guides as well as their strength when putting a heavy load on the rod.)

Congratulations! Great catch! Thank God you netted it before it spit the hook! You must of presented it right, like my grandfather would say" they don't get big by eating hooks"!

A lot of that depends on the time of year and water temp on how hard they fight. But yes, seemed fast. Must’ve had 20lb line and just horsed it

Man your a show off Butch Brown God danm and I thought my 8 pounder was a colossal fish but then again that fish was worth the struggle as it was my first fish ever caught had to fish for three months no joke to catch it and the reilief I got once I caught well, I was singing free falling so that explains it fished at the beginning of spring and caught it at the very end of summer nice catch
