How can this amazing song have so few likes. It's one of the best lyrical songs. The music industry is brutal. Butch is the best of the best.

Ron Wiles, I met Butch in 1986 when he was 17 and hired him on the spot to be my house band at Ronnie's Rock Café. Every night Butch played at my Café it was packed beyond legal capacity

If he and every other musician would keep their political beliefs to themselves, they would be much better off. Kind of foolish to believe that your entire fanbase thinks the same way you do.

He's NOT a fucking BOT, and if you're so bunched up about what he supports as a person - PERHAPS IT'S YOU WHO ARE THE ISSUE???

This isn't really a 'go to' Butch song for me - but the last week, since he left Insta to focus; Taylor Hawkins passed (while missing my dear departed Dad on what would of been his 76th birthday), then Will Smith "losing it" after decades of NOT being "that guy" just before hitting the pinnacle of his career... well, this song seems to fit my mood. I knew the world was gonna implode in my lifetime, but I thought I'd be scared, not sad 🥺❤️🩹 Thank you Butch, for writing so many beautiful heart felt songs ✊🏼

I haven't talked to Butch in a couple years and I am wondering how many albums he has selling now. If my memory is right, he told me he had 12 solo albums selling when I saw him in Orlando in 2011 when he was touring to promote the album Summer of 89 is on. Butch was 17 when a friend suggested I meet, then Brad Walker, playing with Boyz in Rome Georgia. I had just bought a bar to have a place to hang out and had no idea what I was going to do with it. Butch was an amazing guitar player and singer at 17 in 1986 and had probably been great for at least a couple years. His dad, Butch, took him to a Kiss concert when he was 11, I think. His dad was a great man. One of my good friends, Butch Payne is named after Butch Walker, Brad's (Butch) dad.

I respect your opinion, it's your right to have it, can't please every1. But to answer you, he was also Rolling Stone's 2005 producer of the year. He has an incredibly humble and low key solo carreer which he writes incredible lyrics and melodies but his full time job is producing for some of the largest names in music at the moment. So yes, he does make a living at it, a really good one in fact. But you cant get a full respect for him til you see a live show! Unbelievable to say the least!

Absolutely LOVE this song and this video! Sort of disturbed by the comments though. Daredevillv obviously is either someone who has no clue who Butch is and what he does, OR he's someone who has a personal grudge. Either way, shame on you for leaving such negative comments on such a personal video. This is Butch walking through the rubble of his home that burned. Geez.

Yeah, these are the remains of all of his possessions. You can see him pressing down on the remains of a foot pedal from his studio. Heartbreaking, isn't it? That he can come back swinging and write his best record yet after something so devastating as this is amazing.

@daredevillv Okay, let me just say something here. For four years, I was completely obsessed with Butch. I knew I read every interview I could find and watched every video I could find. I saw him live twice. I met him. Butch Walker has never been anything but exactly who he is. So what, he goes by a different name. So do hundreds of other people. As for his hair and tattoos, who gives a fuck? He isn't trying to be a bad boy. He's never tried to be a bad boy. Butch is actually a very nice guy.
@natveangl13 жыл бұрын
@daredevillv tattoos doesnt mean that someone is trying to be bad.. there are doctors and lawyers and even preachers that have tattoos some people get tattoos to mark points in their lives, to remind them of things/ people that they love/ admire. Also 'hair' so all people with 'hair are trying to be bad? thats a pretty general statement i must assume also from this that you are bald.

@daredevillv, I second what @natveangl said and I have never seen him flirting with fans, like most musicians. I've only seen him being nice and standing with them so they can have their photos taken with him. Ever heard of a stage name? Butch Walker is NOT the typical musician that lives the rock n' roll lifestyle. He does make a living on making music, of his own, and for others, and it's because he is really good at it. He would still be just as good if he didn't have tattoos or hair...

@daredevillv I judge him to be a real person because I've met him, I've seen him live, and I've watched/read interviews with him and they all lead me to think he is a real person. I'm just saying you shouldn't judge based on appearances.

Its funny to see you go back and forth posting irrelevant arguments and calling him a "duchebag". You don't know how he acted when he was the Marvelous 3's singer. He really hasn't changed his image in nearly 20 years hell he started in a metal band in LA it changes with who he is. I like his music because its amazing just like with most of his fans. You have never spoke about the video just on his personality and music. Get out troll go back to your hate and let it rot you inside and out.
@neoplisken12 жыл бұрын
How about we see something you made come on make something and show me how you would know what good music is.
@neoplisken12 жыл бұрын
No im not saying that people need to but you however have talked about your 15 years experience with music to back when bashing people so show me your "experience". You claim to know whats good but all you do is bash people. 1 stage names have been used in the past and it doesn't really change a person. 2 Im a singer. While im not that good I can tell how hard someone works to tone and perfect their voice which Butch walker has done. So what I want to ask now is why the hate?
@Autophobiaxx13 жыл бұрын
@daredevillv It's something people call him. He's referred to himself as both Brad and Butch. A name doesn't define you. It's your personality. Having tattoos and long hair prove nothing. You're just very judgemental, obviously.
