I remember when Danny Phantom premiered - I was 9 years old and sick with a bad cold. I remember staying home while my other siblings went out somewhere with my dad, and watching the end of the 2004 Kid's Choice Awards on the couch. They announced the premiere of Danny Phantom after the show ended, and I got so into it that I forgot about my cold for a bit. I also held it over my siblings' heads for a loooong time that I saw Danny Phantom first, hahah. 😜 I'm 23 now and proud to be a Hartfan! Your cartoons were such a big part of my life growing up. I started rewatching Danny Phantom because it’s been so long since I’ve seen it, and I’ve almost forgotten how good it is! It’s awesome to know its origin and I’m so glad you brought it into this world! So, really funny story of how I became a Danny Phantom fan. I was about 7-8 years old when the show came out. I was by no means excited when they showed commercials about the show. Fairly Odd Parents was my favorite thing at the time and Danny Phantom looked like some weird spin off. I mean really, their heads weren't even larger than their bodies!! We'd even gone to Universal that summer and there was a cool cut out poster of Danny Phantom. My mom asked if I wanted a picture and I stupidly said no. I was so unaware of what was to come. So later that summer, I was extremely bored one day with nothing to watch on TV. Well, Danny Phantom was on. The first episode to be exact. I happened to catch it maybe 2 minutes in or so, and I was really fighting trying to watch it. 22ish minutes later I was still sitting there, wanting another episode to watch. I started drawing fanart, writing fanfiction, even made my own original superhero comics because of how much the show inspired me. Its really shaped who I am today, and I'm never afraid to admit the roots of my passion. So to this day, as a 21 year old, Danny Phantom is my all time favorite cartoon.

Dear Nickelodeon: I think I speak for all fans of Danny Phantom when I say: we want Danny Phantom back, but we want it to be amazing like the original series and not try to be desperately hip and modern to reel in five-year-olds. Please Nickelodeon, if you do bring this show back, please leave out any and all modern slang, avoid duck lip selfies at all cost, and don't ruin the show that was such a huge part of our childhoods. Please, allow Danny, Sam, Tucker, Jazz, Jack, Maddie, and so forth to retain their character depth and not turn into Mary and Gary-Stus. Allow the show to flourish from the point it left off around 2007 and not 2018. Let us know the whereabouts of a certain crazed-up fruitloop, and if he will ever return; without forcing the plot into the series. Avoid recycling plots from the original series, and allow Butch and his team to write creative, new, exciting, emotional, mature episodes. Please, give us what we want for a change, and stop acting as if we don't exist. While I understand that it is easier to market to younger children who will watch anything their parents put on for them, it is more rewarding to produce something that actually leaves an impact on the lives of any and everyone regardless of their age. Please Nickelodeon, give us back our favorite ghost boy without screwing him up. Yours truely, Every fan of Danny Phantom.

I would love to hear about how and why Danny Phantom ended so soon. There were so many unfinished plots that could have kept the show alive. 1) The ice-power thing. 2) The return of Dark Danny (since we see his face inside the fenton thermos at the end of episode Ultimate Enemy). 3) (and most importantly!) some settlement with Valerie knowing about Danny! I would love to hear more about Danny Phantom. And I was one of those teens at the support rally for the show when it was canceled. My mom brought me to New York City for it because she knew how much the show meant to me. Sadly we didn't get the show back but I do hope one day we see a comeback!

The Aki War, not really. Butch created the show, which means if he signed the contract that states he has all the rights to it after it doesn't air anymore, he could partner with Netflix or even release the show on here, his KZbin channel.

Danny Phantom is the only animated series in history to have engendered not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE fan rallies in support of bringing back the series over the five years following its cancellation... FIVE!(three in New York outside the Viacom building and two at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in Los Angeles). Crazy even years later people still want the show to return and much more fans have accumulated. There is even this petition that recently reached it's goal of 5,000 signatures. A new goal has been set though of 7,500. Consider signing if you want the show to return. It truly is an incredible show with a creative story and full of a lot of potential. In all honestly butch needs the rights back along with any other creator of the shows. Nick has gone down hill fast in the last decade its disappointing. And I'll be 26 soon. Danny phantom was one of best shows nick had after the 90s . if nick was smart they would release the rights or sign new contracts with the creators of the original shows. Bring back what made the network worth watching and toss the trash that's on its channels today . also if butch did a ten years later skit it would be better as a closing or opening movie for the seires then have it go back to Having them be in their last year of high school for the first season and age up a a bit as the show goes . also try reading so dp fanfiction you would be surprised how many fans you really have.
